The reason why they can't find workers because dollar tree is modern day slavery working there was the worst experience I ever had in life every time I see a Dollar tree now it's like I feel like I'm getting ready to have an anxiety attack or nervous breakdown
Dollar Tree Regina, SK, was one of the worst work experiences of my life. Since March of this year, the store manager has been attempting to force me out through constructive dismissal after I set boundaries and asked three female employees, including herself, not to touch me. It felt like I was dealing with a malicious force, and my mental health has been in turmoil for months since I started. During my time there, I witnessed multiple policy violations from several associates, but instead of addressing these issues, the manager chose to defend them and retaliate against me. She even admitted that she knew her associates weren’t following the rules when she wasn’t around. It became clear that she wanted me gone because I am Caucasian, and she preferred hiring mostly foreign workers like herself. This created a hostile work environment in numerous ways, and I documented my concerns in detail, including dates and times of these violations. However, when I raised these issues, the regional manager responded with more lies and discriminatory accusations against me instead of dealing with the legitimate concerns I had about my shifts being reduced for months. The manager is severely burnt out, unable to recognize her own violations of Canadian labor laws, and so narcissistic that she didn’t think I had the right to set any boundaries. Both the store and regional managers protected each other, demonstrating a level of corruption I’ve never seen before. Foreign workers seem to exploit loopholes, operating as if they’re exempt from rules and accountability, much like an unregulated street vendor. Despite filing complaints with HR, the representative refused to address these violations and instead retaliated with false accusations, leading to my termination. The manager even attempted to silence me by offering a small sum of money to prevent me from speaking out on social media, which I never agreed to. Their arrogance in firing me in clear violation of Canadian labor laws, especially when similar cases in the U.S. have led to class action lawsuits, reflects the shockingly low standards at play here in Canada.
So Don the Con said in 2016 unless he won, the election would be a fraud. He said it again in 2020, that’s why there had to be transparency and there was. No election was stolen, he was no longer as popular as he was in 2016. Now he says the same bullshit for 2024, usually when someone tells themselves a lie they start to believe it - if you believe a lie repeated by an authority figure, then that’s the definition of a cult member. I love America first, no person comes before America. Those of you you love Don the Con first and then America, that’s your prerogative, but you’re not what I would call true patriots because your allegiance is not to the country but to a lying philandering grifter. Just started at the dollar tree. Was offered a job at a stated amount per hour. Just got my first paycheck, and what I am getting paid per hour, is 10% less than I was promised/offered when I took the job. Manager doesn’t make the schedule out ahead of time, so you get called at home and told when to come to work. Utter chaos!
