I can't remember the age limits for the zip line and donkey ride, but there were a lot of activities they had on the beach, like kayaking and paddle boarding that your 4 year old could do with you. We absolutely loved Las Caletas.
Thanks for the video. My kids are about your boy’s height... we plan to go in July but still worry how far we can go up stream (hour or mile) to the deepest water which I may have to carry them? Will it shallow later or it continues to get worse😀
There really was only 1 or 2 sections when we went in June of 2020 that were pretty deep. I put my son on my shoulders and my daughter kind of swam through it a bit. But we realized after we got through the deepest part, that had we stayed closer to the edge it wasn't as deep. When I say deep, I mean like 4ft. Much of the hike is .5 - 2ft.
When hiked the narrows we rented our gear from Zion Gurus. They provided us with special river hiking shoes. Definitely helped. But I also saw a lot of people walking with water sandals, but they typically weren't hiking as far.
Great videos! We are planning to go there mid-June with our kids (8 and 4). Do you think the kids can manage the heat and the narrows? Any tips? Thanks !
The heat shouldn’t be too bad mid June, I think most days it was in the low to mid 80s. We were there end of June. Depending on how adventurous your kids are I think they can handle portions of the of the hikes. We took our kids on walks and hikes leading up to our trip to see how far they could walk/hike without complaining, ha ha. That helped us assess what they could do in Utah.
Thanks! We took private shuttles into the park at about 9am and it took only about 15 mins to get in the park. It does seems like there is a mad rush to get in first thing but then dies down later in the day. Although if you go later there will probably be no public parking.
Thanks! Glad you like it. The shuttles weren’t running. We took private shuttles which were pricey. However the public shuttles are running now but you have to buy tickets in advance.
thank you very much...m leaving in 5 days for the same cruise.. i was searching for such video.. Can you tell me at 47:06 what is the excursion name... and how was discovery kids camp ?
ronak fun thanks for watching the video. Glad you enjoyed it. I know it’s a little long. Haha. That excursion was part of a package including a visit to a Salmon Hatchery, mendenhall glacier visit and salmon bake. The salmon bake is what is at the 42 minute mark. Our favorite part was the visit to mendenhall glacier. The kids club at princess was great. On the golden princess it’s a little smaller than other ships. But then again there are less kids. Which means they all get more attention.
@@nickcharrow6399 thank you for the reply! I've just been seeing a lot of how casual an Alaskan cruise was, but not a whole lot from this specific ship. Would hate to be over dressed and look like a fool! I mean people were fancied up, right!??
Niqueena1 there were definitely a lot of nicely dress / fancy folks on formal night. However there were some people dressed casually walking the ship as well. Our family was dressed business casual. Haha.
