nice remake, when I voted in the poll I didn't expected this to be the episode that got chosen, but i'm glad it did, I also like the way that you set up the backgrounds like when Thomas was stopping at "the goods station" not only could you see the children but a moving train in the distance to, or having Rosie on a flatbed, that was a clever idea to whoever thought of that, anyways, it was defiantly a good choice to remake. edit: forgot to mention how the derailment was done, that was clever, having a piece of track ontop of the existing one and making it look like he derailed on it, nice.
great little vid, and as a discord member, I didn't see this coming, I guess maybe there wasn't a post I guess, but It don't matter, cause its still a good lil vid. edit: there was a post, but I guess I just didn't see it lol.
Nice! I re-edited the original episode with a little musical nod to the episode title: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-KynbrmJVWXc.html
Bravo! I was just wondering whether you'll produce an alternative version of the story known as The Importance of Jobi Wood. Basically, a shipment of rare logs has arrived at Brendam Docks and Derek tells Duck they're Jobi logs which will be made into a new workman's hut, replacing Old Slow Coach. Diesel, who was eavesdropping, tells Duck he wants to push the train, but nevertheless Duck grumpily tells him Sir Topham Hatt doesn't want a selfish, brutal engine taking the logs. Afterwards he leaves to shunt trucks/freight cars for the big engines, leaving Diesel irate, who makes a plan to try to give the lie to Duck's statement about him being egotistical. He starts shoving the line of flatcars out of the docks as fast as he can. Later, Duck and Oliver are shunting a freight train for Henry when Diesel hurries past. Duck cries out telling him to slow down so nothing bad will happen to the wood, but Diesel ignores him. Diesel's driver tells him unless he takes Duck's advice, he'll kill them both. Duck tells Oliver he must stop Diesel, and Oliver wishes him luck. The guard/conductor in the caboose tries to turn on the brakes, but to no avail. The caboose's brake shoes have basically been destroyed. Duck tries to use a loop line to push in front of Diesel, but Diesel hears about the plan and takes an abandoned line, not noticing a danger sign. The guard/conductor jumps clear just in time before both the caboose and flatcars fall off an old bridge into the ocean. Diesel's wheels are wobbling on the edge of the rails now and he cries: "Help me! Please!" Duck asks why he should assist a crass engine, and Diesel tells him to think about his driver and also tells him Sir Topham Hatt could let him take the next load of Jobi wood to the mill. Duck reluctantly couples up, saving both Diesel and his driver even though the wood is lost. Diesel thanks Duck but is not out of the woods yet. Sir Topham Hatt sings Duck's praises for saving Diesel and telling him he will pull the next train of Jobi wood but punishes Diesel by sending him for scrap to the smelters. Do not lose the Jobi wood so you will not lose your life.
