Although the mansion house in Boyle is great tourist attraction it struck me that it was also a reminder of the british occupation grim and forbidding in the centre of the town.
I wanted to buy the castle way out in the lake when it came for sale a few years ago, I was prepared to sell my favorite old swade boots the ones that I wore going to many Thin Lizzy & Rory Gallagher concerts, I know that i would also need some extra money to complete the sale, I was prepared to sell my soul to the bank but they said it had no value to them so the sale never happened for me but I still have my old favorite walking going to concerts Sade boots and still got my unsold soul,
Roscommon Town is beautiful. It is exceptionally clean. Great independent shops and great pubs. The food is exceptional. No I am not from there. It is just brilliant.
