Who cares what wheels and they are , if you like them that’s all that matters , that’s part of the problem with car culture is they have a stigma that you have to play by their rules . Real wheels are wheels that bolt to the car and drive you around , it’s not a name brand , this always annoyed me with folks , fun fact ESR make la a lot of their own designs and some are made from other manufacturers. Do your thing boss and don’t look back
DO NOT DO THIS!!!!! Mounting the harness down on the floor will kill you in the event of a crash. The harness will hold you too tight and will make it almost impossible to get out in an emergency. or worse. please for the love of all holy hell these ricers don't know what they are doing.
My car always throws me back into the seat dynamic or rotor kill mode. I do enjoy the beamer kill brake purge. Applause is given. I like halos in my rear view camera as much as in my honey comb grill
I remember mom buying my brother Ricky a Mustang 5.0 GT in 1986 for $8000. Ricky drove that until his daughter Daniel was born circa 1997. So strange the things we remember later in life. This was down in Stoughton, Massachusetts in the 80's and 90's.
Im also in college with a Focus st and man it’s hard since I also have my work, HW, trying to focus on the car too can be a challenge. But like you said. It’s all about time management
I tried this in my Cooper S. It cuts the power after 2-3 seconds of accelerator and brake. I wasn't even trying to brake boost - just wanted to dry the discs after driving through a big puddle. It works at lower rpm but at 4000 WOT and brake to keep constant speed, suddenly the power cuts out like it hit a limiter and the car slows rapidly because you were pressing the brake.
You’re revving the car, trying to create a balanced force so you don’t change speed but still build boost. Then when you let off the brake you’re turbo is ready
Car only builds boost when it's under load so dipping the clutch and hitting the gas wouldn't build boost. Manual cars can definitely do this tho. Pretty sure his car in the video is a manual :)
Its a huge favorite. Had a 89 Lx 5.0 hatchback foxbody. Had 225 horse plus some adders. Was a 5 speed. Beat a few Corvettes off the line that had a great look of surprise on their face at the time. Lightblue with greyish cloth. Loved that car.
I tried to do this, but the plastic ring that seals the boot to the center console shattered into a million pieces, does anyone know how I can fix this? My shifter boot is flopping around underneath the console, and it looks super scuffed
race car drivers have been doing that since the late 80s left foot brake into a corner while still pressing the gas so you have more power at the exit of the corner
Ridiculous … you’ll ruin pads and increase wear intervals , plus increasing the heat in your engine bay thus stressing your turbos in the process , on your precious build … just perfect your driving technique and timing .. be in the right gear at the right time … driver mod!
