1. Improper Mixing during production. When ingredients are not mixed thoroughly, it can lead to that too. Proper mixing is essential, that's why I always emphasize on patience during mixing. 2. Temperature Fluctuations. Exposure to higher temperature environment can also lead to that. 3. Aging. Over time, the components in air freshener may degrade, leading to separation. This is common with old product. If you are into commercial production, use containers that are not transparent, also encourage your customers to shake well before use...infact this should be written bodly on the containers. Also do well to buy chemicals from trusted vendors. Fake or impure chemicals are everywhere. Last but not the least, we have another method that involves the use of Whitener. Pls use IPA instead of Ethanol (Ethyl Alcohol). IPA is better. As per the second question, Benzalkonium chloride is mostly used as a preservative. Although application may be found in many household disinfectants and cleaning products. According to studies, it is associated with severe skin, eye, and respiratory irritation and allergies. It may be dangerous for people with asthma or other skin conditions such as eczema. Pls if you are not sure of the potency of a chemical or it's functions, don't use it

Thank you for the video. I am planning to make a perfume without alcohol Is it okay to make it with the following ratio? IPM 80% FRAGRANCE OIL 20% How long will the shelf life be?
This is like 4:1 ratio. Why not 2:1. Because what you have is a little more dilution and I am afraid the fragrance when sprayed might not last long. Except you used a very concentrated perfume oil.
