The Port of Rotterdam is the largest in Europe. Each year 30.000 Sea ships visits the port, and that makes it the place to be for shipspotting. Start relaxing and visit the port for the biggest container vessels, bulkcarriers, ferries, cruise ships and many more.
What started in 2018 with testing a video camera is now a new hobby and a great way of relaxing. I live near the port of Rotterdam and when I have time, I try to spot ships at various locations in the port. I try to post every saterday a new video, with in the main role container ships, tankers, cruise ships, tugs and more.

Ok, this was different! At first song, I muted, but then have it a try just to see if it would work in synch with video. Well, damned if it didn't! Excellent choices! Never saw a shipping video set with music background! It works, if music is timru! Bravo, gotta wTch again and again!👍🏿🥂
Fantastic shipping in dramatic conditions. It's a pity that somebody thought that music would be a better accompaniment rather than the wind, the sea and the gulls.
I do love all the blue colored MAERSK ships. Dunno why I just like the look of them haha. By the way can I send you and email about your amazing ship footage? My email address is on my RU-vid channel in bio or in every video description on my RU-vid channel. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks and kind regards. Safe travels!
Does anyone know the title and name of the band of the first music track on this video, please ? (Only the first track, please). Would be very grateful. Thanks.
In the port of Rotterdam you have 2 waters parallel to each other, namely the Calandkanaal and the Nieuwe Waterweg. A U-turn has to be made and in doing so, there is not enough room for large ships. They sail out of the port, turn at sea and then sail back into the other canal. This maneuver is performed regularly.
no comments on the handling of empty contener, I guess wat will happen if only full container are carried, and a separate container ship is used for only empty ones but power by green energy ,solar or wind because time for empty container isn't critical.
Excellent video again. Makes me want to pack my cameras and head over to the Netherlands from the UK once more. The sound track is, as always, relaxing.
So happy to see your videos again! While there are others who do this, your channel is the one I always look for. I also like the sound track, find myself humming it sometimes through out my day. Thank you for going out and recording the ships. God bless you.
Good evening from England, nice to see you back. I'm really liking the new locations makes for a very interesting video, thank you. Goedenavond vanuit Engeland, leuk je terug te zien. Ik vind de nieuwe locaties erg leuk. Het is een zeer interessante video geworden, bedankt.
I understand you very well and ideally, I would love to use the sea and birds as music myself. Sound is very difficult. There are cars driving, motorbikes, people talking, the hum of the windmills. And all different shots in a row, which makes it very difficult. If you want beautiful sound, you have to make a separate sound recording for this at a quiet location, preferably early in the morning or at the weekend, when it is still nice and quiet in the harbour. Who knows what the future holds...
