I think I would take the plate mail. At least the padding would absorb the sweat, though once the plate came off you'd freeze in the slightest breeze. Will you be at the Viking Yule gathering again this year?
@@GraceWillow I am planning on it! My buddy likes to camp there with a group so I've been working on some mead and ciders for them. I may pop up in armor this year too--I have a partial set of leather I need to finish, and I need to remake my hat. It will be great to see you again Grace!

Cheers for this, 5 years late to this party but I'm looking at making a HL2 Gun Display so this is the exact look I need for the Crowbar, the Silver being under the red I reckon is no bad thing as if you look at the art and the later models from the episodes the reds worn in places so the metal would be showing through, plus if it ever gets knocked it'll expose the silver and blend in with the whole look.
@@Theonceandfutureslayer I’m thinking that natural weathering might be a bit difficult to control and unpredictable and I’m planning on trying to maintain structural integrity and artificial weathering might cause the same problem so painting damage is the only option

Oh yaaay!! More mushroom crafts! Not trying to be demanding, but what about a cone or backflow mushroom incense burner? I've been filling my walls with different kinds of mushrooms in foam clay so it's really light. First time with foam clay and it's suuuper different than the clays I'm used to... which is almost all of them! Heeheehee! I've apparently been making things with clay since i was 2! I live in Oklahoma so we have patches of pure red clay in our soil so i used to dig it up in the backyard and sculpt with it... I'm still not great but I still love the feeling of it. An arm in a giant vat of slip!? Magical! Hahaha!❤❤😂😂
