Short exercises, or explanations I find helpful to practice tango
Originally, the idea was to share short exercises and explanations with my students, so they could remember and practice at home what they have been learning during my classes. Hi Vanessa,in the posture topic, can you please make a video about the arms? Where shall they be ? How does the “ frame “ look like? I did ballroom dancing before, had constant problem with my arms when I started in tango .
There's an another adorno (not in this video) that I can't get completely: in the ocho cortado you make a rulo, then a patada and (here's the part I don't understand: ) you relax your foot and pivot and cross... it seems a rulo but it's not exactly a rulo. I can't do it :(
Hi Vanessa , thanks for the fantastic teaching. Regarding the back step, there is something about your feet : it is never straight back , always a bit angled. Can you please explain why /how it happens? Thanks .
