I just wanted to say this was fantastic and the vocals were beautiful. I was the other person who also covered what was I made for (mine was Why was I reborn). I am so glad we came at the same song from such different angles but it is amazing that both of our songs endings are actually parallel to each other. I hadn't really turned my mind to the fact, since the 10 year anniversary reveal, that both Lanfear and Rand both basically escaped the last battle essentially unknown to everyone.
Woah, that is so cool! At the exact same time on multiple occasions we could've both been singing/writing the same song (or even the same line) with WoT lyrics, swapping story lines and word choices. Those short lines were tough! It's fitting that Lanfear's song would largely center around Rand but Rand's song doesn't even mention Lanfear. That didn't occur to me. Holy crap, you just made me realize that the original song lyrics of struggles of identity/fame fit so well with the world's most famous dude becoming anonymous after experiencing the same thing.
@@magspelicanthose short lines sure are a challenge, particularly when the tempo is so slow. It really makes you have to think about the emotion behind every single word. I would like to think we both succeeded on that front ❤.
@@magspelicanI also wanted to say the video was outstanding too. The replication of Billie's music video was spot on. I've watched the original like a million times while preparing and as soon as I saw you sitting there at that little table with that suitcase 😍. The cosplay is amazing as well.
