At least 4 teams from the B1G in the CFP?? OK, I see Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State (mabey). After those 4 who is left? USC if they ever find some defense? Washington depending on how the new coach does? Iowa with NO offense? Technically, Rhule is close to being right about 4, and YES Finebaum is a Moron and is the same MORON who predicted the PAC 12 would survive and that Michigan would destroy TCU in the CFP. He is the only radio show host that lets everyone else run the show. Good luck to the Huskers this year.
Greenberg's & Finebaum's comments shouldn't surprise anyone. They work for ESPN who is connected with SEC. Best way to deal with them is not watch them or ESPN. I don't.😊
Finebaum is a biased sports columnist/reporter who slams coaches and programs for fun. He poisons the minds of sports fans when it comes to untrue claims. He’s notorious for creating bad content
I’m a Miami Fan ,Even I respect & Admire The Nebraska Blackshirts How Jared & Grant Played. We had a Few Like That Rusty Meaderis, Greg Mark, Daniel Stubbs, Kevin Patrick. Enjoy the Way Grant & Jared Play as a College football Fan.
a really good show...............one bit of constructive criticism - there are reportedly 15000 comedians out of work and you're not as funny as you seem to think ............a few fewer "comedic" interjections would improve things greatly. That being said I like your content and presentation so will give it a try again.
Appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. However, I do what I do in the way that I do it, and I likely won't change. If you return, thank you. If you don't, I get it since my attempts at humor are not your cup of tea. The plan for the content on this channel was always to have fun with it, and I will continue to do so.
Love hearing from these awesome former Husker players! College is getting worse than NFL making that kind of money at a young age only more about themselves , the teams will suffer more & more! NIL & Transfer portal destroying Colkege Ftball, I hate it😔 More like NFL no more big power houses or winning lots of games, playing field spreading out! I miss the 90's smash mouth Ftball!! #GBR❤🏈
Got bored and started searching some old content from you guys. This is good stuff! I’ll never forget Frost’s last game… lowest moment for me as a fan was walking out of that stadium in the walk of shame with my wife after her first husker game
As we were going down the escalators from the 600 level, a lot of folks were talking about how Frost might not have a job by Sunday. It hurt me to my soul to see his tenure as HC not work, especially after he had been so hated by the fan base back in '96. He never got the credit he deserved for leading that offense in 1997. I knew a bunch of people who said we would have won bigger and better had London been QB1. It was infuriating to me how fickle fans can be. So, I probably wanted him to succeed as HC sooooo badly, that I was pretty unwilling to admit that he wasn't up to the task. I hope he gets another shot as an OC somewhere. His offense is pretty damn effective. He was one of the few people who could exploit those Wisconsin defenses for whatever reason.
I did enjoy the interview. But what gets really old is this narrative that the 90s players somehow have this magical aura about them and nobody can ever measure up and compare or outwork them. It gets old
@emusdad I don't ever feel that. Simply invested in what they feel is still their program. Coming from the most dominant team ever in CFB. They deserve to get the respect. Both went to have successful NFL careers. I think it's safe to say they know football. It's why Nebraska is special. Never forget .
Great show! Two of the Husker greats that made a difference every time they played. I'm stoked the program has truly embraced the players that repped the N in every way. Glad to see us finally getting a culture back in place. Culture is always top tier on championship teams. LFG GBR ☠️☠️☠️☠️
Yeah man, I remember hearing that said numerous times back in the day. But to hear it from two of the GOATs to inflict that kind of punishment, on our little podcast? Utterly surreal.
It was so much fun. You could tell how much Grant & Jared admired and cared about each other. So many quotable moments. I feel bad that I was so busy producing at times that I missed some of those gems. Can't wait to listen back to the podcast later.
Great episode! I like the 10-2 season prediction from Ravi. Got a good laugh with the Jeff Foxworthy clip, Ken! I’m interested to see what the WR’s bring with an accurate QB.
Glad to see you guys back! Nice 10 list but I’d take off a few guys for sure. 1. Gifford- inflated stats but a good player. 2. Alvano- the kid is terrible and will be replaced by game 4 or less. My 5 would be the following 1. Rhule- Your leader has to be #1 if coaches are included 2. The Scarlett Assassin Dylan Raiola- obvious reasons 3. Nash- our nasty guy 4. Lloyd- gonna be the game breaker and lead the Big 10 in big plays. 5. Tommi Hill (my favorite player)- he’s gonna make another big jump after a year of success. He’ll lead the team in takeaways with 7 ( 5 picks-2 fumble recoveries), 2nd All-Big 10.
Thank you for your comment, buddy! Scott & I decided not to include Rhule for the purpose of talking about the qualities the other coaches bring to the table. We know what we have in Coach Rhule. We know he will positively impact 2024, and hopefully works on game management too. Everybody has talked about him ad nauseum, so what else would we have added to that conversation? Not much. I disagree on Gifford and Alvano, but I totally understand your perspective, and appreciate it. I seriously wanted to add Lloyd and Hill to my list, but I felt more conviction about the ones I chose. Good to hear from you, Bot! GBR!!
