I thino roadside attraction works best if you skip to it before Ford arrives. I think it was supposed to air earlier in the season, but the network held on to it
They messed up magnifico being a classic Disney villain soooo badly that they accidentally made him a tragic hero in my mind. If only they'd included the cut content where his wife was in on the villainy. "Its how its worked for years and you just now noticed?" "Hed revealed his secret which she should already know about" I know right? The entire town is soooo bad at math.
Considering how humans treat creatures that aren’t human, I think changing the source material was a good, but necessary move. That entire sequence with the Chef & Sebastian supports my point (ad hoc reasoning on my part most likely).
I've said this many times but in my unpopular opinion Amos Slade is one of my most disliked and loathed villains of all time due to his unspeakable crimes in both the film and the novel and gets a karma houdini. Call me biased or whatever but I don't worship or glorify Slade unlike most people who sadly do.
Well the show originaly was gonna have 13 episodes(or 12 i can't remember) and it was gonna get a lot more into the lore and the first ep was most likely gonna be a ep where we get to know the caracters after the pilot but they could only have 8eps so it got scraped
Aside from my numerous issues with the show (the horrifying way it shows Dusts literally s*ual assault as funny/sexy is top of that list), i cant stand how Hazbin, a series owned, funded, merchandised, copyrighted, and distributed by *Amazon and Amazon Prime* is labeled an indy/independent series No, no it is not. The pilot is. Helluva Boss (ugh) is independent if you ignore a bunch if factors & squint. Hazbin Hotel is in no way an independent animation and it hasnt been since Amazon started working with/on it
That scene at 0:16 seconds, which is in the trailer is exactly why I hate modern trailers. Oh my God! A giant plant monster! And it’s going to swallow them! How in the hell are they going to get out of- oh never mind. They’re fine.
I'm tired of seeing "Is Hazbin Hotel a bad show?!"or something close to that and then in at the start saying "Just a discailmer I don't think Hazbin is bad I just think they're a few problems"or something close to that"on my reccomended tab,I hate clickbait.
That's not even mentioning Mulch's sudden turn to being on Artemis' side. He broke into the place five minutes ago, had no more than one conversation with the residents, then just joined them. He disregarded the decreased prison sentence for the sake of this incredibly intelligent boy. Talk about efficient character writing. So efficient, you almost miss the part where it's explained why he switches sides.
An inconsistency I noticed in the show is that Alastor clearly cannot be on camera (as shown in the first episode) but we've seen Vox watch him from his screens several times. I thought it was just a trait of his? Is it something he manually controls? I didn't really see it that way when Vaggie first tried recording him.
It is a pity that such a great research and well done documentary has so little views. but im also relieved to know that most works like this are sleepers, their popularity will rise only with the passing of time until they reach the spot it deserves. Very good job, my friend Greetings from Chile
my partner and I watched the whole show together, and after charlie talks to Rosie my partner paused the show and sat there for a moment and then said something along the lines of “what happened?? That was actually nice writing” O-O makes you so frustrated at seeing those good moments and also knowing the rest of the show sucks :(
Well to be fair the writters cant fix their own daddy issues so is not surprising that they dont know how to reabilitate demons with their issues...... maybe in season 2 they consult some therapists
The explanation from 21:05 onwards is completely wrong. The US government knows best. Because it's written in detailed military reports. When it comes to Japan, why do you completely believe what China and South Korea claim? When you don't believe anything else. I won't go into too much detail here because it would take too long, but what I am claiming is the truth. It cannot be overturned.
12:32 I also think That warning wasn’t there immediately when the episode released Because I watched it like the weekend/Friday it released and there was no warning
I wanted the season 1 to be on the same level as Hazbin pilot. The pilot is absolutely breathtaking, refreshing, hilarious and incredibly unique. I would’ve preferred if Vi had full control & and they kept making the show on RU-vid, with the right company supporting them. Someone who lets the writers do their jobs and they don’t jab their nose to it. Alastor characteristic in the pilot are so charming, brillant, and fun. I was excited to hop onto this show and it’s really disappointing the show follow up on this. I’m pretty sure Vi wanted to take the show on the pilot level. ally heartbreaking to see how the show took a dip down because of all the love & hard work it was put into the pilot. I think all of us want the pilot standards from now on, I have good faith and hope this show will change. I don’t know about season 2 honestly, I don’t know if they’re listening to to fans critiques. But it will come, we stick around because we love these characters and I’m sure we will see justice done to them lord
Thank you for the video, but I have three remarks. 1. Padmé did not die of a "broken heart". She gives birth while Anakin becomes Darth Vader, and he unconsciously sucks life energy out of her. Palpatine supervises Anakin's operation, which is why he knows that Padmé is dead and Anakin / Vader did it. 2. Rogue One is dark because it mirrors "A New Hope". Its theme is not hope but the absence of hope; instead of a group of very different people who become friends through a mutual aim we have a bunch of losers who, each in his own way, have nothing left to lose and for this reason decide to give their lives to a cause. 3. The scene where Bodhi is tortured by the squid-like creature, leaving his mind fractured, is necessary to show how he belongs to the others; they all have lost vital parts of themselves, like family, integrity, physical or, in his case, mental health.
Ok now I know people are going to mention it but when I first watched Hazbin Hotel (show) I was thrown off with Sir Pentious death like I wasn’t sad or upset he died (I got spoiled at that) but the fact that his death was played as a cheap joke then we see everyone getting sad and emotional over it is such tonal whiplash and not in a good way.
Seeing someone for who they are, not what we want them to be, is the essence of love. Having listened to your video, I now remember that there was a sex scene between Strickland and his wife which was disgusting. He was consuming her, too. 😮
It's nice to see that there are actually people who don't watch Star Wars for the fan service. 😊 Mae having her memory wiped makes sense BTW: in this show people constantly change roles. Osha e.g. puts on the strangers' mask, which brings the two of them closer. Mae switches roles and clothes with Osha. It fits that in the end Osha stays with Mae's teacher while Mae, hapless like a child in a totally new world (the way her sister was many years earlier) stays with the Jedi.
Yes heaven forbid an actress act. I’m not defending the casting, but your reasoning for why it was bad is ludicrously off point. Can’t expect much cognitive ability from a furry of course but still.
The few characters I actually really enjoy from this show, were Husk, Alastor, and Sir Pentious. Husk's backstory was perfect for his character, and built him up amazingly. Any character played by Keith is bound to be a good one. Sir Pentious was by far one of the best written characters. He's cute and charming, and his jokes were the funniest of the show imo. Alastor is by far one of the most well loved characters in the series, and for good reason. However, people very much misinterpret his character and motives throughout the show. I also felt so betrayed when they had him cuss. Even if it was just 2 times, it felt so out of character for him. He puts on this calm and composed demeanor, and for him to lose his composure enough to swear over 1. His rivalry with Lucifer, and 2. Fighting Adam, just didn't feel right. The rivalry with Lucifer turned to petty teenage bickering REAL fast when his only comeback was "fck you". And he is not a cocky character, so for him to immediately flaunt his power and sound so sure he'd win sounded so off. And when his Mic broke. I feel like it would have been more impactful if he didn't say anything at all and just had a horrified expression on his face for just a split second, but it went away because now he knows he won't win but wants to keep his mysterious demeanor up.
Me: hating Summerween with a passion for weak jokes, wasted cool monster, and badly written conflict that's basically an unnecessary demo version of what's coming in series finale Author: so this episode catapultes itself at the top of the list Me: goddamit (But that dialog in shop that you highlighted was kinda sweet, so for that reason it's probably isnt my least favorite episode, Roadside Attraction beats it because that mess just doesn't work on too many levels)
Stan is my favorite character, too. I was kinda surprised not to see many threads online like "who is your favorite character, and why is it Stan?" Like, for me, even tho there's a lot of other great characters, not a single one comes close to Stan in terms of being so well written (although I dont like how he's written in Weirdmageddon, but, well, I don't like Weirdamageddon part 2 and 3 writing in general so I guess nothing can help that)
Yep, Wendy is totally an actual character and not just the love interest! I especially like how she develops throughout the series, starting as a "cool girl from lumberjack family" and ending as a "cool girl from lumberjack family". So many interesting conflicts with resolutions involving her, like ugh.... hating popular song in society of blind eye I guess?.. I also like all that time she spent with her family on screen. Who was her family again? Toby Determined and Pig Farmer guy?..
What I've seen people saying about Niffty killing Adam is that it's great to see her killing a misogynistic guy because she's supposed to have been a 1950s housewife in life... However, it's never said in the actual show, so when I was watching with my mom, she was extremely confused about half of what was going on and wouldn't have even gotten that idea if it was the point. That's a big problem I've had with the show. A third of the lore is in the pilot, a third of it is in streams, Tumblr posts, and overall not in the show, and then a third is actually in the show. I might've seen the pilot and gotten two thirds of what was going on, but my mom who wanted to watch with me hadn't, and was constantly confused and frustrated. That was until she decided to just focus on the songs more than the actual plot. It's not even like she doesn't like shows with this type of humor, either. She loves shows like Bob's Burgers, South Park, Cyanide and Happiness, and even games like that too. She loves raunchy, swear filled jokes, and had no problems with that part of the show. It's just that the plot is so separated, not explained well in the show, and rushed that her as a new viewer, fresh without looking at outside media, couldn't keep up.
