Maureen has been in the real estate business since she was old enough to lick and seal an envelope. As a young girl, Maureen would accompany her mother, Ann Folan- one of Queen’s most trusted real estate professionals- on appointments and open houses. From a young age, Maureen quickly learned a great deal about the real estate industry. To better understand the business world, Maureen earned her Marketing/Communications degree from St. John’s University. After graduating in 2001, it was only a natural progression to integrate into the real estate industry and continue the family tradition. Maureen became a full time in realtor in 2005 starting off with Remax Universal Real Estate. Within 3 years, Maureen and her team were awarded the # 1 Sales Team in all of New York State. In 2008, Maureen, her mother, Ann, and 2 sisters branched out and opened The Folan Real Estate Group. Within 2 years, the boutique style brokerage became the # 1 real estate firm in Northeast Queens.
I really don't understand this is America the United States of America the most powerful country of all. You have squatters trespassers people entering trespassing your land and they have more rights than the owner. And to top it off I don't see no illegal actions against the state or the government stopping squatters. These things only happen in a third world country
Aint no way I'd skip the finger work to save a few percentage of the value of my house if i decide that i wanna sell. Agents are a rip off, half or not it should be 10 times less.
Right. Despite the prices and rates, my new home builder closed 12 gomes, 3 this coming week. Never did we sell 12 new homes in 1 month, not even when rates were in 3s and prices were normal.
If anyone buys now they will be catching a falling knife. They will be under water in a few short weeks. The recession is on it's way job losses are already happening. This realtor is just cheerleading the housing market because it's her livelihood and looking to make money at the expense of anyone. Or, has her head in the sand and can't see the macro-economic environment we are currently in.
She’s wishful thinking, watch what happens with massive layoffs and an inflation rate that out of control, she’s no economist. She needs to make money so she’s a happy promoter, ‘ the economy is the issue’ - what a irresponsible statement . Increasing Interest rates will erode purchasing power. It takes a lot to maintain a home, pay high taxes, insurance, all while paying more for daily goods. Realtors are nervous about it.
