I discovered Louise Hay in my early 40’s during the 90’s. And I bought her book. I wasn’t ready to changed the 90’s turned out to be my worst decade and luckily I survived it. I’m 73 and returned to listen to Louise, I’ve made some improvements all these years but lately it’s been a roller coaster. Battling with myself & now the anxiety I experienced back in 2008 has returned but now it’s affecting my driving my BP rises I’m having difficulty driving I’m afraid to have a heart Attack or stroke … I have been eating way to much sugar again which I’ve done off & on for years. So yesterday I went out to begin my walking regimen again. I had a setback last when I walked 5k I enjoyed it because I hadn’t done one in years but I pulled a muscle in my Rt leg had therapy but only did my exercises now & then. Driving has been my saving grace because I’m able to do things for myself walk to the stores I park a distance to get my steps. And now I’m having this setback. I will be seeing my Dr. soon mean while I will be doing what I can to improve my situation it’s not temporary it’s going to be for the rest of my life. Maybe I need a new BP medication I had the current adjusted it didn’t work but did fine until now. The thought of not being able to drive would be paralyzing to me. I believe my body is telling me that’s what it needs more than ever now!!! Listening to Louise, will sure be the therapy I need & I have a good Dr. I believe in her to and with Gods blessing I know I will beat this. Louise Hay saved my life.....when I was deeply depressed while living in another country with an abusive husband...I found her book in a second hand book livrary...25 years ago...
Louise has emerged again in my life after 30+ years. “You can heal your life” was such a revelation for me in my early twenties. It caused deep contact with changeable patterns within me. I’m eternally grateful for the love and wisdom that is Louise Hay. I hear in her voice the loving vibrations that gave me courage to love and accept myself exactly as I am.
