It was a huge scandal at the time. The RCA label asked the writers and composers to make the song more age appropriate, but Christina herself wrote the more explicit lyrics even if she was underage at the time. There was a documentary which is still online where this was all talked about. Since the label pushed for more PG lyrics after this single, Christina then wrote and released Stripped a few years later as a 21 year old girl to let the world know how “Dirrty” she actually was.

I was such a huge fan of this lady. Man, I was so in love with her. One of the most underrated and under pushed artists ever. Two of Lari's bigger Hits "Ready Willing and Able" and "Stepping Stone" had no music videos. She performed those songs on TV live a few times, but I can't find the footage on RU-vid. There is a Music video which was really just a live concert video to "Lead Me Not". This song that she wrote is so awesome. Why her record labels were too damn cheap to produce more videos is beyond me? Why wouldn't they want to showcase this gorgeous woman more? Many of her finest songs were never released as singles, and some of them went on to be big hits for other people. Still ticks me off.
There are people that wait till marriage to have sex. I know a few and me and I husband did. We have STDs because no one values the meaning of sex anymore and so they just sleeping around . God made sex for marriage not to defile it . However must people have stayed from Gods design and know we have so many unwanted pregnancies , abortions and STDs.
I was working as a Nurse Practitioner at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. I had a -3 year old girl with leukemia as a patient. I was checking on her one day and she told me her mother was pregnant. There was none of the joy you would expect her to have. She got very quiet then said “can I ask you a question?”. After telling her she could, she asked “do you think the new baby is taking my place and I’m going to die?”I was floored. How do you answer a question like this? I couldn’t, yet I heard myself tell her “No, God is sending the baby to give you joy and something to look forward to”. The words came out of my mouth yet they were not my words. God is great. Praise his holy name.
Something I've learned growing up, even without kids of my own, is the reason your parents treat your children differently than they treated you is simple. They love their grandchildren, and yes, they will share the things they've learned as they got older, but above all, (and I'm certain this is going to offend a few of you but keep reading.) it is not their place to raise your children for you. Their job is to trust that YOU will share with your children the lessons they taught to you. They raised you as best they knew how, and tried to prepare you for the world they knew you would find when you grew up. It is now YOUR turn to teach those lessons, and whatever you have learned since then, to your children. Sure, they can pick things up if you stumble, either teaching lessons you can't properly impart, or help you figure out how to do so yourself, but they've given what they could to you, and TRUST YOU to pass those lessons forward.

"male" and "female" are terms mostly associated with the animal kingdom (as in opposition to the human one, which granted is technically part of the animal kingdom. But we do make a distinction nonetheless). So when someone refers to a girl/woman as a female it does have the negative connotation of bringing her down to the level of just another "animal" and forgoing part of her humanity (Not saying you're doing that on purpose). How many times have you heard or seen someone refer to men as "males"? Think how weird a sentence like that sounds: "Many males like cars (sorry for the stereotype)" instead of "Many men like cars". In my mother tongue/country, I've never heard or seen anyone use "females" to refer to women or "males" to refer to men, so when I read it on the net (in English), the implications are always pretty jarring. With some exceptions, I also almost always see people (Men, mostly. Actually, I can't remember other women ever using this term to refer to other women), using the term "female" while holding a pretty misogynistic discourse/argument. Hope it clarifies why some of us aren't too keen on the use of that word to refer to us. In addition: a female human being is called a woman and not a female, the same way that a female rabbit is called a doe and not a female.

Justin said he wrote this song while on a cruise and in the grips of a period of very deep depression. He said he walked up to bte bow, looked over and the thoughts of self harm were overwhelming. The lyrics came tonhim then and he wrote the song, as they were his actual thoughts at the time.
