Hi. I am new to your channel, Angela and Mark. My 14 year old grandson is very artistic and is trying to teach me to paint with acrylics. So far, I get frustrated and am not loving it. But you make it look so easy, Angela. I am going to try this beautiful painting of yours. And I am so excited for you as you travel to England. I will be 70 years old in October. Hi there my name is Jo (Joanne) I am 70 years old from Southwest Ontario. Just happened to come across your video and Thank you so much. I use to paint oil landscapers about 40 years ago...even sold a few. But then life happened 😊. I am low income and pretty crippled up with arthritis but I can still move my arms and hands. Yesterday my son came home with two large canvases and a set of large tubes acrilic paints from a neighbour down the road with a free bin by the curb. Today I found your video. I don't believe in coincidence. Been feeling pretty low these days. I believe God DOES help us in mysterious ways. Hi Angela, It's been a while, I haven't had time to paint in months, life has been busy with work and school..😢 I'm definitely going to take some time to myself and do this tutorial. I enjoy your tutorials a lot. These have helped me understand the basic concepts and color mixing, and the more I practice, the better I get. Well, I do need to get better with drawing, especially shapes. Anyways, I'm so glad to see your latest tutorials. This one attracted me because it reminds me of my art station at home. I am the one who asked about being heavy handed with my paint during the live show. Based on your (very helpful) answer, I am going to try to paint this one in a more impressionist style. After doing watercolors for 3 years, I'm trying to add Acrylic painting to my skill set. This was a good practice run and I found there's a bog difference how paint and brushes work with this medium. Trying this first painting was like a first pancake, sloppy, but hopefully future "pancakes" will turn out better. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Angela!
