Mi Maria! I can see the sequences play out in time with the music in my head while watching this. You added just the right about of heaviness to it to differentiate from DiCola's original! Is this all by ear?

Very good but - and I hate to be THAT guy - this loses a lot in translation for me. There's some things that can be achieved on a synthesizer that simply can't be replicated with an electric guitar, even though you do an astoundingly good job of attempting it. This just doesn't have the same punch busyness cacophony of the original which really puts across how the fleeing Autobots are in a desperate fight for survival. The overly bombastic and aggressive riffs of the Decepticon theme are perfectly replicated though. I hate to be so critical because in my opinion Vince DiCola's work is nigh on impossible to imitate and you do an outstanding job. This track just didn't do it for me though. Sorry.
You've got nothing to be sorry about! Nothing wrong with expressing your opinion or being critical, especially when it comes to music or any other type of creative work. I'm nowhere near Vince's level, so I appreciate you taking the time to listen and write a comment regardless. When it comes down to it, I'm just a random guy making dollar store versions of other peoples' music.
Bloody hell! You knocked this clear out of the park and then some! Perfect pitch, tone and everything else with a touch of a slower tempo. I'm sure Mr DiCola would be very pleased and flattered with your rendering. Bloody nice work!
@@metal_helm I made the mistake of using way too much movie/show footage in most of my earlier videos, so I've been either blurring out sections, or in some cases, completely re-editing/uploading videos
@@breadhenge got it! don't know if you saw it, but I uploaded Gojira's performance the other day at the olympics with enhanced audio. Took 8-9 hours of experimenting with the video to bypass "the censor gods". LOL
