I agree with Sal, if the Bills don't win the East it's because the offense couldn't find the right chemistry. I still believe they will. They went out and proved they can do it without Diggs down the final stretch, and Brady unlocked the potential of Kincaid, which only manifested later in the season. Despite losing Poyer, Hyde and Tre (mostly a non-factor the last 2 seasons) the defense will be solid - Milano back alongside Bernard, and DaQuan back in front of them.
I'm the biggest Bills fan but to be natural we shouldn't stand a chance making the playoffs. Miami and New York went all out smelling the blood in the water. We lost SO much leadership and we lost the best receiver the Bills ever had (stat wise Molds and Reed are better). It's tough but it's All on Josh
Exactly. No one has and no one will. Take the over on Bills wins. McDermott has been amazing against rookie and second yr QBs as the HC in Buffalo. Look at the schedule and the QBs. Stroud, Levis, Richardson, and at the end of the year 2 games against New England. Gotta go 4-1 in those games. Then two games against Tua, a game vs Lamar, Goff and you get San Fran after the bye. I like Buffalo in all those games if healthy. Beat the Cardinals, Seahawks, at least split vs the Jets and you're at 12 wins. Can they beat the Jags early? Can they beat KC in Buffalo? McDermott has always avenged playoff losses to KC the following game. The path is there for Buffalo.
The Jets have a case but would you bank on a 40 year old coming off a torn Achilles? As for the Dolphins, they finally got a full season out of Tua and still couldn't do it. This version of the team has to prove it before calling them the favorites.

@@moedudley2222 As noted, Cousins isn't 40. But that's also why I specifically mentioned the torn Achilles. Very few players get to 100% the year after a torn Achilles. Some never reach if again. Being older certainly won't help him.
I've viewed this 2024 season as a transition season. It is clearly Josh's team now with several vets departed, Diggs not demanding the ball and Joe Brady calling plays. In addition, the Bills have shed salary, gotten younger and amassed more draft capital to continue to build out this roster next off season. AFC East is a strong possibility this season but expecting this Bills team to get past KC and the Ravens is a tough ask. Keep the salary where it is and use the balance for filling in for injuries and see where this team is at the trade deadline. I'd roll with the players in hand and let Josh cook. I'm most curious to see Bobby Babich take the DC play calling away from Sean so Sean focus exclusively on Head Coach role. Sean needs to make a step forward or this team, no matter the talent, will fall short if Sean can't master the moment under extreme duress.
I love the regime of Beane and McD even though I do have my quams with the coaching staff at understandable circumstances but Beane sure knows what he's doing as far as roster construction. And shout out to the scouts in Buffalo I feel for some positions their top of the league especially finding amazing young guys on the defense. I can see the vision for this team and even though for Josh there is alot of changes I feel his experience can help lead this team to everyones ultimate goal. Go Bills
The Bills are 2-4 in league championship games, not 0-4. They took two league championships when the AFL and NFL were separate leagues. Those can’t be discounted. There was no way to do better those years.
I think many fans are over thinking the amount of Cap Space Brandon Beane has to work with. Beane probably should do nothing....and save his seed corn for a possible player in August or during the season. Let's see what our draft picks can offer, and how healthy we are come Sept 1st.
I know everyone is concerned about our WR room and how this offense will look like without a true # 1 WR , also all the changes that have been made on the overall roster especially defense , but I’m not really worried about all that we still have # 17 and I believe in our coaching staff , the only thing that worries me are injuries , I don’t care if we are the # 1 seed or # 7 seed going into playoffs, for ONCE I just want to see this team entering the playoffs healthy !! I agree with Matt , I don't feel we need a dominant WR, let Josh distribute the ball wherever he finds someone open and quit worrying about a replacement for Diggs, so over the Diggs trade, move on media.
It is indeed huge that now Allen is the unquestionable veteran leader "skill" player of the offense. There is no shadow lingering anymore with Diggs, no one receiver who needs to be force fed.

Worthy is a scrub...north south speed only...no east west quickness which is far more important as a WR. Ladd or DeJean at 33 or trade back and package some late picks for another 2nd.
There is nothing to worry about there is STIll so much talent left . Go look at the WRs left, which is something the Bills need . Tonight the Bills will make up for it .
It's not just WR, but almost every position is blowing up with their salary. Guards making 20 million now and Bosa, Allen and Burns got in the 30 million range as Edge rushers. The NFL is making tons of money and it will continue. The WR position needs to be treated like RB because after 30 they're not the same player. Keep rotating them out and pay the lineman who last into they're mid 30's
So we went from we need a GOOD WR to a SOLID WR ? I think we got a solid WR in Samuel and Shakir , I was hoping to add a STUD WR , I know the draft is not over so I’m hoping we get lucky find a really good WR
