Ich habe die Serie damals von der ersten bis zur letzten Folge geguckt und diese Folge war ein Highlight! ❤ Diese Szene ist mir so ans Herz gewachsen, dass ich sie mir in Dauerschleife angucken kann. I love it!
Almost a Finnish Air Force plane. Erik Magnusson (later a fighter ace and Mannerheim Cross awardee) test-flew it 1939 and liked it a lot, and suggested purchase. An initial deal of 26 aircraft was made, but the WW2 came in, and the Netherlands Army Air Brigade needed all the aircraft it could have, and the order was cancelled. One could just think what kind of a chainsaw the eight machine guns in the nose would have been against SB-2 and Il-4 bombers.
I was captivated, what a performance!! He was like taking me through this storybook and every line was like flipping another page, wow that was incredible!!
