Hi, this is the Hasselhoffteam channel! The author of this channel loves film fiction, movie comics, just great movies and everything related to it. The main thing on this channel is subtle details in the image of famous characters. Enjoy watching!
I remember when I first saw what was happening to the senator in the movie. I was kind of hoping for some thing similar to the X-Men the animated series when the X-Men actually saved his life and it would’ve changed his stance on mutants. Like in the animated series when the X-Men save him from an assassination attempt, and when he runs for president, he actually changes his stance on mutants to a pro mutants stance but that didn’t happen.
I call bullshit. 1. Logically Logan would have 6 natural CHUTES In both arms going from knuckles to wrist to forearm to back of elbow. 2. When claws extract they go through the 6 CHUTES through his wrists to his hands & through his knuckles as seen in 2000 X-men. Held from wrist to the back of his elbows by tendons. 3. Is that painful YES yet that AT HIS KNUCKLES heals , okay and there's no PROOF of anything else Except what was shown in 2000 X-men. All else is speculation. Maybe metal sheaths shown implanted in Windsor Smith Weapon X so to stop a sharp metal from cutting flesh. Also shown on the 92 X-men comic with Logan vs Omega Red art by Jim Lee, shows those sheaths.
Also just excellent writing in general. That in his last moments, the only people that would attempt to save Kelly were not his "friends" in the US govt, but the mutants he despised. Even Wolverine, as trauma-ridden by the govt's actions as he was, caught him as he fell instead of letting him drop.
Your attention to detail is impressive! Seriously, I watched this movie more times than I could count and never once did I notice that Kelly transformed into a sea-like creature with tentacles/fins/whatever the hell those are at 5:21. Also, I always assumed the kid at the beach was poking a stick at a fragment of Kelly's body that he thought was a jellyfish. Great video!
Amazing 🤩! Body horror explanation we needed to see. A terrific analytical 🧐 Video, It Would be Swell to See you Explain the body horror and Science of Mystique Very Soon 🦎
I felt they could have done senator much better than mutating him. That was my only turn off with the first X-Men even the Wolverine a X-Men cartoon did the character justice without trying to recreate the 90s Days of Future Past story... Besides the costumes of course
I personally think that while he is kept alive by dark magic, all the mechanisms in his chest and body that make him such a danger are run or regulated by the clockwork. And that's why winding/switching settings puts him in battle mode. And why he seems to die as the long spike of metal at the start pierces him because it blocks his mechanism and messes up the magic force keeping him animate for a while. Plus, as the narrator said, he's a bit of a drama queen and like to put on a show. F.i. He could have killed the agents in the sewer without ever letting them get a shot off, but he just had to have his dramatic appearance. The "unwinding" bit was probably needed to stop everything ticking so he would truly be assumed dead.
Also, if X-23 is Logan’s daughter, doesn’t that make X-24 his son, or no, since he’s some kinda cyborg type soldier that wasn’t born from the womb? Still has Logan’s genes 🧬though, no?
Correction - Magneto did not plan to turn humanity into mutants with that machine and commit geno, his goal in the movie was to turn the human leadership into mutants so the mutant's place in society would be secured It was in the second movie that he attempted geno by hijacking a human attempt to eliminate all mutants and use that against humanity instead
Or maybe there is more than one x-24 or the body parts are the failed attempts? And Logan had bone claws before the weapon x program wrapped his skeleton in adimantium. Even in the comics when magneto ripped out Logan adimantium he still had bone claws. Which through all Logan has been through throughout the centuries of a painful life riddled with loss having the adimantium ripped off his skeleton had to be the most painful thing he had endured .
What is the terrifying body horror that Senator Kelly had to go through? What exactly did Magneto do to his body during his experiment? And what were Senator Kelly's unstable abilities as a mutant? This video answers these and other fascinating questions regarding X-Men 2000 movie. Don't forget to subscribe to the channel and support the video with your activity, thumbs up and comments, this is very important for me! Enjoy watching!
Would you consider doing an analysis of Toad's specific attack, the slime? I'd like to see a detailed video like this one about that attack and how it was one of the most effective moves used in the battle sequence.
