There's one other show that ticked all those boxes - Continuum. Smart, stylish, and ended far too soon. Dark Matter also was like a return to sci-fi roots, with great screen chemistry too. Why is it the "Proper" sci-fi shows all seem to get cancelled, leaving a mass of supernatural-based bilge where I can't tell one show from the other?
Yes, is an amazing show!!! I'm passionate for and I'm trying to spread the word about the show. I'm from Brazil and sometimes isn't so easy to watch that, but I'm doing my best to not lose any moment. I agree to watch at least 3 times each episode, there loads of details and I always find more. I love this challenge to find a new idea in 12 monkeys over and over. Thanks a lot for sharing this letter.
because , if you don't , i will have to invent a time machine to travel back in time , and stop the show before it ever began. That way, you will not hurt so many people by failing to finish the story.
As I'm from Croatia, Europe... I will write it down as a comment to this video: "Renew Continuum - because there's no ending... and you will ruin all the other seasons. We are waiting what will happen next with our Rachel Nichols.. hope our voice will count, too. Bye!"
I tried dialling. And then I remembered that I am Australian. So I'll add them here for anyone that want to record. ..my escape from reality slaps me back into reality. ...it provokes thought. ... it challenges my perception of good and bad. ... it's action packed! ... it is enthralling. ... we need more time travel on TV! I could go on for days. Renew Continuum!
Love the idea of Alec moving the entire tree trunk of the Continuum. Sadly, it will probably take time... err, several more episodes for additional rules of time travel to be revealed.
This is a theory I proposed to my husband some time ago. However, in my own crazy world, I like to think that each branched timeline has its own unique atomic signature. Two people of the same atomic signature could not exist, but two unique ones could. Therefore, two Kelloogs or Kieras could exist by virtue of the fact that their two unique signatures create no paradox.
Amazing Video, and an interesting Crackpot Theory Dave. I think I might have to go back, to the beginning and re-watch this show again. Thanks for the amazing Podcast. Steve, Vancouver B.C.
It appears that Kiera breaks into the circle of prisoners next to the missing leader of the terrorists/freedom fighters. If she stepped in front of him or pushed him away then he may not have recieved the same amount of time energy as the others. That decrease in the amount of time energy recieved could create a difference in his timeport in either direction in time.
I think that the character of Elena appears to be affected by the time bubble. The "Third Mystery Guard" could be one of several things. One: The time bubble could be refracting light in such a way (like a cloaking device does) so that it only appears that the "TMG" has been affected. Two: That scene could be a replay of Elena being affected from a different camera angle. The strange thing about this "TMG" is all of the other characters we know were timeported had sparkly lights around them.
