If anyone wants to play Gta v- lowest settings with 60 fps or little above Valorant- Lowest settings with 100fps above Minecraft- Lowest settings with 200fps Thinks about this
I sometime got back to it from a Vive Pro, and it's still very fun, I think OLED and tracking are what matters, at least for roomscale games. Once you are moving around and killing zombies you don't really care about pixels. You can also get Vive Pro for like 200€.
Yes, I would say it has a decent population. Regular classic era, no expansion. Just good old classic. But most people left which is why only one guild remains pretty much
Yeah the first Vive is still kicking in modern VR! Although if you want to buy one, make sure its controllers have blue ropes instead of grey. That's a second revision and it's quite a bit lighter on your head and has slightly better mic.
I have had this since 2016, and it is so bad that i barely ever used VR over the last 8 years. Now that I finally upgraded to the Quest 3, I am using VR all the time. It is absolutely not worth buying the outdated 2016 technology these days.
@@MaestroColby it's all about tradeoffs tbh, vives are cheap and come with base station tracking, but have really poor optical quality. A friend has one and describes the SDE and lenses as nearly unbearably bad. some people are fine with that though. comfort supposedly also isn't amazing.
@@stoni1kenobi I do have a PC good enough to run it and the OG HTC Vive still sucks. That has nothing to do with it, as the Quest 3 is way higher resolution and way better comfort. And I can still use the Quest 3 with my PC.
Btw can I just say not to be mean when people have like genetics there eyes are so small without glasses like my friend looks normal with glasses but he looks so retarded without glasses
After a recent pc upgrade, RX 7800 XT, Ryzen 7 5800x3d I picked up one of these for a similar price. Totally worth it! I tried vr on a previous pc and didn't have the horsepower at the time. For someone who has been playing pc games since the 90's it's pretty amazing to me that I have virtual reality in my house. Worth every penny
We all where there, I am used to gt 610 , 210 and integrated with mostly i3 2nd gens, for few years was like that, now I got a ryzen 5 with Rx 580, gonna buy a GTX 1080ti next, hope you get a better pc
@@thegunsgamerthe og vive uses less pixels and runs directly through steam vr. Quest 2/3 require oculus to run in the background on top of steam vr causing loss of performance ever so slightly
