Please note that the I-7561 USB to RS485 converter and other converters are not considered data acquisition modules,, you will not see them in the DCON utility, you will see the module they are connected to. Also, you must have a data acquisition module for the free version of EZ Data Logger to work. You can find the selection table for the ethernet data acquisition modules that qualify for the free EZ Data Logger version here: www.icpdas-usa.com/remote_io_modules.html

If you have an LS PLC with an RS485 port that supports Modbus RTU. Then in the driver section of Indusoft select the Modbus RTU driver. You can connect that way. If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please feel free to chat with our team at icpdas-usa.com
Hi Adalberto. I-7188EA is a C Language programmable controller with 6 digital inputs and 7 digital outputs. Page 69 of the hardware user manual shows the PIN assignment. You can see the DI digital inputs and DO digital outputs labeled along the top terminal block. If you want to activate the outputs and read the inputs, you would make a C Language program to run inside the I-7188EA. In the link below for Demo Program you can use the demo program that reads and writes to the DI and DO channels. If you have any questions you can email me at marias @ icpdas-usa.com (remove the spaces in my email address) or email tech @ icpdas-usa.com (remove the spaces). Hi yes you can use Modbus with LabVIEW. Here is an article that explains how to use Modbus with LabVIEW: www.icpdas-usa.com/Modbus-with-LabVIEW.html?r=maria. Here is Modbus TCP Data Acquisition Equipment: www.icpdas-usa.com/remote_ethernet_io_modules.html?r=maria Here is a tutorial on how to use our ET-7000 and PET-7000 Modbus TCP Data Acquisition Modules with LabVIEW: www.icpdas-usa.com/documents/ET7000/labview_modbus_eng.pdf
Hi There! Thanks for your comment! It looks like the ESP32 supports CAN 2.0. If you want to communicate with it via Modbus RTU, you can use our I-7530A-MR Modbus RTU to CAN converter it is helpful for data exchanging between the RS-232/485/422 Modbus RTU devices and CAN devices, i.e. your ESP32. Here is a link to the information on the I-7530A-MR. www.icpdas-usa.com/i_7530a_mr.html -The ICP DAS USA team
The Modbus register table for our ET-7026 can be found on page 70 of the following manual www.icpdas-usa.com/documents/pet_et7x00_register_table_v110.pdf The Analog channels support read and write. To write to the AO channel, simply connect to the module via Modbus TCP with the IP address of the ET-7026, the module ID (Usually 1 for Modbus TCP) and port 502. AO0 is Modbus register 40000 (base 0). AO1 is Modbus register 40001 (base 0). This module support both Function code 6 and 16 for writing to holding registers. The AO channel range can be found on the table below and will depend on the range selected along with the data format. As an example with the module configured for the 4-20 mA range in engineering format, you will need to write a value of 4000 if you would like a 4 mA output and a value of 20000 to output 20mA.
You can run Indusoft on one of your computers and have a thin client on the another PC. If you have any further questions on the subject, please feel free to chat with our team at icpdas-usa.com
We provide free software utilities for setting up our equipment. DCON Utility is used to set up our DALI gateways and they can also be used with Indusoft SCADA software.
Thank you for creating so much value for the community! A transcript mode to go through the video faster would be quite nice . Have a look at tldv or otter :) When will be the next session? Best, Rolf

Hi There! Thanks for your comment! You can use the I-7510 to extend your RS485 network. How far depends on the baud rate that you are using. If you are using 115.2 kbps you can extend a maximum of 400 m, if you are using a baud rate of 9.6 kbps you can extend a maximum of 1,200 m. Here is a link to the specifications on the I-7510 repeater www.icpdas-usa.com/i_7510.html -The ICP DAS USA team
