This channel is dedicated to the promotion of the beautiful village of Doolin in the north of Co. Clare, Ireland. Situated in the heart of the Burren region, on the Wild Atlantic Way, Doolin is the gateway to both the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher - there's a lot to discover in Doolin. Stay & discover more!
The government wants the Island for the elite after the people themselves leave the Island - same old trick! Money money money not for the people who live there but for government elite. God bless you all.
My wife and I returned this June after eight years to walk the Cliffs with Pat a second time. He is amazing! His love of country, the cliffs, and people is easy to hear. Thanks Pat. Be well.
@JamesBrown-ij1px I just returned from Ireland ... Walking the Cliffs of Moher with Patrick Sweeney as my Guide was one of the most beautiful and meaningful walks of my life. Patrick Sweeney is not just a 'guide' to walk the Cliffs of Moher... Patrick Sweeney and his family lineage IS the Cliffs of Moher. Thank you, Pat, for giving your visitors all of yourself and your land.
No way!!! I just spoke to Mrs. Daly (Daly’s House BnB)on Friday! I was securing a room for our first trip to Ireland and she was so kind and offered tremendous planning tips (Thank you!)…I’m listening to travel videos as I walk my coon hound in the woods and heard her voice on this video! What a fun coincidence! Celebrating our 32nd anniversary- and the themed gift is ‘conveyance’ or travel/transport- so we’ll be ferrying/biking/driving/and flying our way across Ireland! Can’t wait! Lovely video!!!
For me republic of Ireland was great place and still excellent place its my own way personal experience this life everyone have there own problems im definitely lived this country in my past life i believe cuz i came to republic of Ireland like joke back in days from very far far far away true god grant me great luck i just jump in the plane been around the world own my own and find my to become totally free man the problem is fall in love drive people mad end of story
Beautiful area and fantastic scenery but for reasons that shall soon be clear, I've not had the courage to view this until recently or to go there myself. If you go walking along the cove and cliffs near Doolin, please, please, please be careful and do heed all of the warnings in and around these parts (there are literally hundreds of signs and fences). I lost a very close family member in 1983 and (a few days later) several people from the Lisdoonvarna festival were also lost (and there are many other instances besides), hence the coast guard part. The seas and cliffs can be treacherous and must be respected. If you are concerned, then a guide such as the one in this video is a good solution and will keep you from wandering in unsafe paths. I don't care if there are some nay sayers responding to me but if I could save only one life, then this post will have been worth it. My brother loved Ireland and I think he loves it still from wherever he is now.
Oh by far the 4 day stay in 2016 at Maeve's Churchfield B&B, the pubs, the sessions, the walk from Doolin to the Cliffs-stunning/challenging adventure, the Burrens walk with Donavan, oh my Doolin was WONDERFUL!!!!! Cant wait to return!

Michael ,Oughtdarra Kelleher ( Sean ) learning the new world, delighted to press a button and hear you're very informative voice, not many of us left , youth falling for modern materialism ( supplied by the banks new landlords.) Grandma Kelleher Oughtdarra now buried in Doolin graveyard, would be proud of you (a rebel tradiolist promotor of old Ireland 🇮🇪 .
Say hello to Michael Connell from Sean Kelleher Robinstown Co Meath many's the great laugh and jar and sing song I had in his company a great ambassador for his village and county clare . A silent ambassador full of natural ability.
I'm hoping to pay my first every visit to Ireland, sadly won't be till about 2025, hopefully things in the world will be a lot better by then, plus depending on money. When I do visit Doolin is on my Must Visit list, seen the photos, looks like an amazing little place
Doolin is a beautiful town, ferry over to the Aran Islands, surf the crystal clear peeling right off Crab Island, tap your toes with the amazing musicians, savor the pints and bathe in the beaming smiles. Some time take the time… to travel down that coast road… it’s place that changes you.
This was a wonderful experience. There is a true gem in Pat and his knowledge. Hope to be back again one day and do the adventure again with my nephews once they are abit older. Thank you to Pat - a true 5 star award.
