Many of these 12V - 5V converters also put significant noise on the 5V powerline. This can be seen with an oscilloscope: I clocked one at 1.3 V p-p distortion..that's 26% distortion on a 5V output.
So what is the fix to the interference??? We all need to charge something in our vehicle. And many times, while using the charger when listening to our local radio station, the static happens.
Good afternoon! There are a number of adapters in the market. OEM that are clean and do not generate interference. A local two way radio shop with the proper equipment will be able to confirm this.
Question..Will a factory reset in service menu fix my second hdmi port seeing a signal. My lamp hrs is 700hr. Will the reset also reset the bulb timer? Hope not?
If anyone out there can give me some insight on a dual band radio system whether be a mobile radio or handheld in the Canadian FFC or whatever it’s called. Can you run a radio on a GMSR frequency or FSSR frequency hope you got the spelling right
What a waste of time this was. I had already figured out the source. Was looking to find out if there was a fix for it. You never even posed the question. I'm sure I'll find one but no body was home here.
One thing that's not discussed too often is the amount of options these radios have with out having to purchase additional licensing like Motorola has done. The instant recall requires no license, Motorola requires a license or does not have it. Custom voice announcement, call routing, Bluetooth, gps, dtmf air remote, control station conversion- these are just some of the things these mobiles can do with out license.
@@JVCKENWOODCanada I have a spectrum analyzer. I can check how clean something is. That doesn't help knowing what to buy. I don't want to buy 100 things and then test to determine what's clean. I want to know what's clean and buy what works.
For those people bitching on here about the update using RS232, your internet or provided by router and switches that are also configured with that same connection. Holy Hell!!
Love the idea, still trying to wrap my head around the price. Currently have an RS2000 and love it. So I would get an extra 600lm HDR+ and 8K E-Shift for the similar RS 3100 for double the price? I am curious but will be sticking with my RS2000 at that much of a gap.
Thank you for your interest in our new JVC laser projectors. The RS2000 is an outstanding unit and we are glad you are enjoying it. For the difference in price you are getting +600 Lumens (beneficial for larger screen application and also benefits an improved HDR experience), 4-way 8K e-ShiftX (our new technology that gives you a pixel perfect 8K experience even with a 4K source so you can enjoy today's 4K content to your hearts content and not worry about how long 8K content will take to arrive in the future), upgrade high contrast optics (for improved visual performance), the latest HDMI 2.1 platform (48Gbps capacity for 4K/120 and 8K/60 content), HDR10+ (the latest HDR codec which has a small but growing library of content where the metadata will auto adjust frame/scene HDR to reproduce the director's intention) and last but not least our Blu-Escent laser design with 20,000hrs of laser light life in high mode for consistent and bright light output in high mode. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to customerservice@ca.jvckenwood.com !
Thank you for your inquiry about our new home theatre projectors. As this is a new platform of projectors with HDMI 2.1 and the newest gaming consoles are themselves doing updates, we need to look into VRR support further. Thank you for your patience.
@@JVCKENWOODCanada Many thanks for the reply. Everything I've heard/read to this point from JVC has been a definitive "no chance" on VRR support ever coming. If there in fact is a chance, that is a game-changer. Even the new Sony TV's (my A90J included) don't support VRR yet, but support IS coming...
The 2010 models were updated through a simple mini USB port. The 2011 models updated through an ethernet cable, which was already a step backwards. It seems now we need a USB to serial and a freaking modem cable? Why is JVC going back in time?
For those of us in, or on, vehicles could you discuss whether it is worthwhile to connect the HT to a 5/8 wave antenna? I've seen it done but there are debates as to whether they are getting much of an improvement in performance. I wear earplugs under a helmet while riding a quad, which makes it very difficult to hear the radio even at max. volume. Using an earpiece would mean giving up one earplug, which would not be ideal. Is there another solution? Thx.
Good day! Yes a 5/8 would provide improved performance however it is important to have the antenna matched to the frequency that you are using. We recommend have your radio optimally set by a local dealer. This would include have the squelch correctly set and the appropriate antenna chosen. As for hearing solutions there are options to consider! Please email community@ca.jvckenwood.com and we can work with you on specifics to best match the radio you are using.
A Ham radio licence is not usable on RR . In BC you must have a "Land Mobile Licence" and the radio must be approved by ISED and it must be a mobile unit not a handheld
