No matter how rough life gets or how bad the world may seem, I always have these pure childhood memories to look back on and smile. I appreciate that so much more now.
for a country to go from being decimated by the USA, to them giving us american children such a beautiful childhood is something truly to be said about humanity. Peace always prevails.
Became an adult two weeks ago, seems crazy that until like 5 years ago I was a big nintendo fan. All this soundtracks remind me of a simpler time where I could go home and play Pokemon Ruby and not worry about all the assesments I had in the week
I’m 25 which in itself feels crazy. This music brings me back to a time where nothing mattered more to me than running home and playing my Wii. Video games hold such a special place in my heart as I’m sure it does for everyone here. I miss the days of sitting in front of my old big box CRT tv and playing the Wii. Rather it be Mario, Sonic, Super Smash brothers any of them. I spent so many hours of my younger years playing games with my friends and family. I miss it. I miss those days. Carefree. I have my own family now and cannot be happier. Still the need and want to experience those wonderful years again even for a moment would be a dream come true. I will never forget those memories and hope that I can give these to my children as well.
Some of these songs are barely 10 years old, who's childhood is this supposed to be? Kids who are still going to school? Are 10 years old's reliving their childhoods? What a stupid title.
A few years ago, when I was 14, I decided to sell my wii. I still hate myself for doing that since it was my first ever console when I was 5, so I'm making it a goal to get a wii and every game I ever owned on that wii to relive every memory I've ever had. It may take a while to find a wii, but I'll make it happen, no matter how long it'll take.
@VIPERNYX16 Well find a wii should not be that hard an wii doesn't cost much anymore especially if buy a used one, I could find one very fast, am sure you can make it. Games can however be a bit pricey depending what title but buy one evry now and then, depending on you budget am sure you get your stuff back eventually, I wsh you the best.

I just found out my wife was cheating, maybe we were 1 year and a half of marriage but sure thing it hurts like hell.. the only thing that ties my mind to this world is my memories of nintendo in general, Smash, Pokemon, Zelda… fuck.
Hope there is a second coming out sooner or later, I’m hoping it involves more great songs from the 64 and also GameCube, there would be some Pokémon colosseum songs that would be great to be added

I just turned 19 18 days ago..the Pokemon Black/White 2, and Mario Kart DS music hit me hard in the chest because the DSI was my first video game console i got in my life at the age of 8 or 9 i believe and now its been 10 or 11 years since then..where time go..?
Going to have my last university exam and will know if I graduate in two days. I think just after thatI will come back to listen to this. It will like having end credits for my uni years
This tune in particular gives me so much nostalgia accompanied witha twinge of sadness. Reminds me of the good ol' days in my hometown, NYC. Platinum was my whole world as a kid, my escape. I dearly miss those days where I got all warm and cozy in my room during the winter, playing Platinum under the covers while watching the snow fall from my window. My parents and I would go to my favorite place upstate on the weekends. I'd always bring my Dsi to play Platinum on the way, bundled up in the car with my winter coat and gloves on, accompanied by the gorgeous mountain sights on the way there. Such a blast we had! Warms my heart just thinking about it, Thank you!
This is a random one but the Shops theme from Mario and Sonic Winter Olympic Games hits really hard for me for some reason. I played that game a lot when it came out in 2010
