Wow that was a very generous score I've been there once and it was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had 1.2 is generous I'd say go to mama Rosa or marchionis in barnegat nj
Any successful method of eating pizza shares a common denominator; putting it in your mouth and swallowing it. Considering how this man did in fact put the pizza in his mouth and swallow it, I would venture to say it's the way to eat pizza
@@UndoingRuin08 If consuming calories was the main goal, you would be correct. If consuming food for the purpose of taste and then reviewing the taste, then you would be incorrect. When a pizza is folded, then your taste buds are in direct contact with char/crust, which is not how pizza is designed to be eaten. Next time you get pizza, fold a slice and try then try another size that is not folded, you should notice a considerable difference. If you don't, then Pizza Hut, Dominos and Ellios is all you need.
JOE AND PATS IS ICONIC ON STATEN ISLAND. I GREW UP ON STATEN ISLAND. HES BEEN AT THAT LOCATION FOR OVER 60 YEARS. SAME FAMILY OWNS IT. YOU SHOULD ALSO TRY BROTHERS PIZZA ON FOREST AVE. STATEN ISLAND...ALSO GREAT
Too bad the Democrats want to kill all the good pizza places. I'll bet it was not cooked in an electric oven, more than likely either wood or coal fired. You can't get a great looking or tasting crust using electric ovens.
Nobody on SI considers that place the king of squares and nobody with any pizza knowledge is traveling to Lorenzo's It below average pizza at a decent price, end of story. SOOOOOOOO many better places for a square slice on SI.
@@studimeglio7110 We had a Di Fara location that recently closed, that was world class square. The OG is Brothers pizza on Port Richmond road, they make a good Sicilian, used to be better, but still good, but not world class. There is also a place called The Square which is kind of a copy of L & B Spumoni in Brooklyn. Best in NYC is DiFara's and Prince Street pizza, pepperoni square, neither are on SI. SI has some world class round pies.
