I have passed the "Mother" title to my daughter. I am now a grandmother and so a "Crone" and I think it fits me rather well. I enjoy crochet, Tarot, building altars, and travel. This channel is to document some memories. I would love to learn from anyone who cares to comment and help me along my path. My email is grice_carrie@yahoo.com.
Wow the star and the moon cards in the first deck were just so impactful for me for some reason. The whole deck is intense in a great way, ty so much for the review!! Nisha
Thank you for your deep sharing! 🙏 Are there grades of reading tarot? I know, most of us, I assume, somehow, because of a cultural scheme, want to get "better" in reading. Is there a need of ambition? I find it very truthful, genuinely touching and important to be lovingly conscious of where I am or another person is in life right now. Being truly simple in tarot is releasing. Your pictures are rich. Love, kindness and warmth for you, your brother and your whole family... 🙏🤍
@@CefiLeaube I don't really believe there are "grades". I use it to illustrate how I feel about how I read compared to others. I honestly think that we read exactly how we are meant to but I also don't read for others. I think reading for others helps you develop more trust in what you see in the cards and you are able to take the readings to another level naturally. Some tarot readers practice by reading for characters in TV shows. I find that intriguing. Thank you so much for your love and kindness. It means the world to me.
@@BetwixtDandD as far as I can tell, they sometimes mention the myth that is referenced in the card but I believe the safe answer is no, they do not talk about the myths within the cards. For instance, the hanged man is Odin and they are clear that it is Odin but they do not tell why Odin is the hanged man.
@@judethat I haven't used mine yet but I sorted all the cards and made the decks the way I would like them. I can't wait to really get into them! Let me know how it goes for you
Preacous! So deeply preacous, all of the altars and symbolic objects you share. Thank you! I couldn't explain how much I can rely on what you show and how intrensically I can unterstand the parallel to tarot. I'm fascinated and touched! ❤
Honestly I’m watching this a second time! There’s something about this that is just pure magic it reminds me of my pockets as a little girl full of random things that told me stories that I would create worlds with and hold onto magic with. I feel I lost this a bit and you’ve just gifted it back to me ❤
I used to build "little people" houses in my yard and all of the these things would have fit that world so well. Thank you Candy!!! I love you so much!!
I love love love your collections in boxes it’s totally a wonderful and unique way to collect. It’s an honour to be caretaking a gifted version from you. You are absolutely pure magic ❤❤❤❤
your collections are delightful and how lovely to combine them with these decks. Really liked the vibes they all exuded together with the collections. Thank you for sharing!
Yes, I buy many AI collaborative decks. There are more out there than you can imagine. I see many Tarot readers using AI collaborative decks and they are unaware.
I received this deck & book also, and am SO in love with them! I love how big the font is; it’s so much easier to read. And I absolutely love the colors in the cards; so vibrant and just so lovely to look at. I also love that the keywords & cards aren’t all positive either; there’s definitely some cards that made me go 😨 because of how intense they are (in a good way) - like that one succubus / danag card.
@@carriegrice I haven't done many videos on it yet, but I did make a video sharing my thoughts about it! I'm currently reading the stories in order & enjoying taking it slowly 😊 I hope to make more videos of the deck once I'm more familiar with it!
The Haptic tarot is just gorgeous, OMG! One question: where on Earth did you find your altar cloth? It is the most soothing and beautiful cloth I've ever seen...
Happy Birthday to your Mom! I am the care-giver for my mother who turned 100 in May. Thanks for sharing your decks for this hashtag! It's a fun way of "meeting" people. I actually enjoied seeing the holographic deck! I have not seen most of these decks before...not for me, but I have enough!...🤣 and still fascinating! The Mary El has been on my list for a while.... nice to hear you think it is the "best deck ever." : )
Hi Carrie. I love your daily spread that you shared. I have also been feeling like my single card pull in the morning is just not enough. Maybe it’s time I try something different. For some reason, I only use 1 deck in a reading. But maybe I should try multiple decks in my readings. I loved hearing you talk about your mom and the things you do together. I was my mom‘s full-time caregiver for 4 years before she passed, and even though she had both physical and mental limitations, the one thing we always did together was sit side-by-side on the couch and look through all her photo albums. She never got tired of that. I miss her every day. LOVED your vintage deck collection!
@@megadele65 Thank you! Caring for my mom is such a blessing. I hope to get a few more years with her. It is so much fun experimenting with spreads. I played around reading cards for fictional characters just to get practice. It gave me the freedom that I don't allow myself when reading for my journal. Do you collect decks?
@@carriegrice I am new to tarot. I’ve only been studying and working with tarot for about two years. So to answer your question, I am not really a collector yet. I only purchase decks that help me learn the RWS system at this point. But I have definitely seen some indie decks that I would love to own. I’m just holding off until I feel more proficient at basic card meanings and learning how to read a spread.
@@megadele65 I added a link to the Facebook group that sells used decks. I understand. I am still learning Thoth and Lenormand. I want to learn it all. Hahaha 🤣
The Dice are an expansion for the Publishing Goblin's Oracle Dice (either original version or 2nd edition), even though you could probably read them on their own.
@@carriegrice judging by the meanings on the cards, they'd be a neat little oracle on their own. with the three arcade tokens (or other included stuff) a little i ching printout would be an easy additional oracle, and between all that would be compact but VERY comprehensive set of stuff.
@@kayla8402 if you check out publishing goblin's website, I think they have a large dice set for Oracle work. I just didn't add it into the Kickstarter. Thank you for watching!!!
I had been following Velga on IG for a few years now. This deck originally came out several years ago but I missed out on getting it. As soon as I found this available again I scooped it up. Lots of decks come out of order. I can't recall if mine came out of order or not. I don't know if you mentioned it but there is a pdf guide for this deck. I'd like to see your fairytale/folklore decks.
This was so fun to watch 😊 you have such an interesting variety of decks! The Phases and Forests Oracle is so beautiful, I'm gonna have to put that one on my wishlist ✨ thanks for sharing 💛
I wish I had known about the guide preorder. I had printed out the ebook long ago. I really like this deck but tbh never really use it. Thanks for sharing
@@TrioofWitchesTarot I really want to sort my decks these days and put the ones I'm not drawn to in a separate shelf. I'm afraid I will never use them again though.
@@carriegrice It's my pleasure! I think you are from Ireland, the only phrase I know in Gaelic is "Cead Mile Failte!", which I'd say it's very convenient in this situation 😀
@@78puertas OMG no, I am from the USA. I visited Ireland and made videos of our travels. You have obviously watched a few of my other videos. Thank you for that also.
@@carriegrice Hahahahaha! My bad then. No problem. It just means "a hundred thousand welcomes". Irish people are very welcoming, not once but a hundred thousand times. 😉
How ridiculous now the tarot collectors are making prompts regarding the best deck sounds . Notice the collectors are all so prissy with decks and the need for backup copies . None of y'all are really card readers . Y'all just mass consumers. Its disgusting.
I'm sorry you feel that way. I use tarot for myself. I have mental health issues that I work through by using tarot and journaling. Yes, I do collect. I'm sorry that my problems affect you so profoundly. I know it is a world issue but you seem so angry. I hope you are okay.
@@TrioofWitchesTarot oh!!! My bad!!! I will try to fix that. Thank you for pointing that out. Thank you so much for subscribing!! I love your channel!!! Sorry for the mistake!!
