Some various videos of my self doing the things I love: ultramarathons, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, just to name a few. I am the self-proclaimed Kimbo Slice of ultramarathons.

@@shoutingvoice8681 at the time yes, every 3 to 6 miles, but post covid some races changed that or at least is the case in MN

Awesome job! I have watched a few videos about the Barkley Marathons, aren’t those in Tennessee too?
@drejdrop

Thanks and yes the infamous Barkley ultramarathon is in Tennessee. Anyone that can finish that has a different level of mental toughness and orientation skills.

@drejdrop I read that James Earl Ray escaped from prison, years ago, and only briefly, not far from where that marathon is held.

It sounds like his attempted escape is the inspiration for the Barkley race@@brianhelander4173

Straight beast mode! How long did the 100 miles take you? Considering doing the 100k or 100 miler in March.
@drejdrop

A little over 22 hours

Do you need a headlamp for this race with the lighted trail?

How was this course overall? I'm doing it this year.
@drejdrop
@drejdrop 3 года назад
Relatively flat and runnable. The long pine needles tend to cover up the pot holes, but that is minor.

@drejdrop

We could do a remix alright, I believe the Drago cry comes from the Hearts on Fire Version

wicked icicles. way to improve from a few years ago, you got to mile 40 this time. Especially with the arctic vortex happening that is huge accomplishment. great job.

My heart dropped when the dude said you had 7 more! Glad you were right and he was wrong... Congrats on the 100!

You caught that detail! I made a wrong turn a mile or so away from the end and came in a different way and had done an additional .5 miles.

They do a good job with this event. You get a jacket, a medal, and a customized finisher belt buckle with your name and time on it.
