Union Arena isn't doing a good job with catering to the Japanese Audience. The series added to it seemed to have been curated for the western audience. I think it will do far better here then then.
Sorry to be annoying, but isn’t Samudramon the ‘English’ name and Gaioumon the ‘Japanese’ name? I thought Samudramon was only listed on the English D-Cyber devices. But I could be wrong. 😅
Thank you for commenting, no it's revered, Gaiomon is it's English name, and Samudramon is it's original Japanese name. They usually refer to it as Samudramon for international released merchandise just like how Omnimon is usually referred to by it's original Japanese name Omegamon.
Due to the fact that ukkomon, and the galaxy cards are being used lately in the blue hyubrid deck deathx might actually be a option to run in the current meta. Plus Hades might need to be bumped up to 3 due to hybrid decks being so dominant currently. Also the black scramble cards are still something to look forward to.
Which means it's the only Greymon that doesn't have Greymon in it's name and it can digivole from dorugreymon which is a greymon that not really a grey (because it's sub name is dourguromon)
You COULD theoretically make sandwitch, just with fusion substitutes like king of the swamp or the dark hex sealed fusion, but at that point it wouldn't even be worth summoning
King of the Swamp and Dark Hex needs the other material to be correct, so you still can't make Sanwitch. Pretty sure Witch of the Black Forest was banned way earlier when the Sangan was hit.
Thank you for watching our video, a few card's I have considered playing is Deathxmon for mid to late game grinds, and to deal with smaller Digimon in more rush based strategies. Another card is the black scramble cards, but the scramble cards wont be released till December sadly, but those cards will definitely have a place in the deck.
Im trying out more piercing in the stack at lvl 4 and 5 myself, as i like the aggression. Also, you should give Shoto a try in the deck. The starter one allows you to redirect motimon attacks to the stack instead, and the EX7 one canngove end of turn piercing and blocker to a digimon. Blocker may not be relevant all the time, but it CAN come up, but i mostly use it for the piercing. Anyway, nice profile
So unfortunately Fierce Blade Mode (Itto Mode) would most likely be best off not being an Ace so that you can use Ex4 Gaio to cheat into it since due to its wording itd complicate things in making proper use of his EoT effect, though perhaps a Gaio Ace or an actually useful Metalgrey Ace instead could help bridge the gap instead. But at least OTK variants still exist with it currently.
I have had 14 consecutive bricks with WarGreymon last time I tried to bring it back. I really want BT11 GreymonX back. Watched some guys stream playing it at 4 against BT16 meta, and it didn't increase their win rate at all, just made some turns feel better.
BT20 has been confirmed to be a X-Antibody themed set, Justimon X being a confirmed card appearing in it, so I'm hoping that we could get Gaiomon, and Itto Mode, in it.
This looks like a fun build, love seeing black base. Given Gaiomon doesn't get as big in this version, any thought about using Greymon (BT2-057) so it gets jamming, given the agumon gives reboot to everything and Gaimon gets reboot anyway?
I've actually used that Greymon in other builds before, and I really enjoy being able to swing at security with jamming. This is more of a base for the deck, and I'm definitely gonna be experimenting with different ratios, and I'll definitely be testing that Greymon as well in this build 👍👍👍
Great video, pretty creative list! The only thing i'm not sure about is the ST15 Agu since you don't have raid to abuse the mechanic on your turn. Maybe you could run the Agu from EX4 that lets you un-brick without sending any card to bottom so you can reliably "search" your stuff without a risk. (BTW I love the switch mechanic I'm currently playing a raid black base version with 2 Wargreymon and 4 bt12 metalgreymon) Also I don't know if you noticed but the rookies you are playing don't require a "Koromon" to evolve for 0 so you can experiment with another black lvl2s
This is a completely separate theory of deck. Inspired by Digimon D-CYBER, Shengjian's Gaiomon reverts into a Ryudamon before evolving back up into an Ouryumon. So I made an Ryudamon, Ginryumon, MameTyramon, Gaiomon line and the stack is just crazy. It can block and then suspend a second opponents digimon, then if tthey attack again it gets a 3rd block in. Then when attacking if it is bigger, it unsupsends which depending on how you built it will result in a lot of damage. Then ginally Dorugreymon to make it into a constantly growing voltron.
Honestly Shifter should be at one i mean the chance to draw it in the opening hand is very low and if he will be at 1 its similar to Gamma. If you draw it its nice and it not, Its become useless
Hit ukkomon, both of them hit emissary, also hit Geremon. Ukko will slow down numemon while geremon being hit will also slow down the deck while not setting up their trash to do big plays. Also, with ukko hit, it slows down every deck using them. Choice restrict Magnamon X and Patamon. Patamon is the only thing keeping yellow afloat at the moment and if you chice restrict them magna now will have to be used in blue armor or they will have to inivate to keep it as string as ever. Also, with emissary at 1, they can't just pivot to it. Also, MirageGaogamon at 1, that card is used in many blue decks as a secondary, also limits any future MirageGaogamon.
One or both of the Ukkomons seems reasonable, and Nume X seems likely too since the lack of a Level Cap on its float effect is going to be an issue long term. Monzae X to 1 is possible, but if you hit Nume X, it's not likely it gets hit too.
They could do more Choice Restrictions. It doesnt kill decks but gets rid of toxic combos. 2025 is going to universal releases. Sets 18/19 and 20/21 will be merged sets like when the games started in the west. By doing this, set 22 can be a universal release.
As an insect player with no clear win con except control your opponents board and do chip damage where you can until my opponent finds the option removal and then OTKs me I have no idea what you could possibly think needs hit in Tyrant 😂
I agree with the fact that Nume hits because it’s a cringe deck. Also going to your wish list I can understand with the Greymon X but I don’t think they will take it off also I think hpd at 1 is fine because some lower powered green decks may need it to function or like at least be a semi rogue deck (also i completely understand where you coming from for that imperial comment.) but hey that’s my thoughts on my matter.
Do a hero yubel build as well. It’s actually pretty fun to play. I have a yubel unchained build, but I’m not buying fiendsmith at these prices. I also added winged kuriboh LV 6 to my hero and yubel-hero builds. It’s very useful if you don’t draw it lol
I am going to be running four Memory setter Takuya, three Security Attack Takuya, and two Piercing Takuya. Four Gravity Crush I am planning on running a red base that is extremely focused on aggression. No purple cards and it just uses the new cards as an engine.
