Thanks for stopping by! If you haven't already, I'd love it if you'd subscribe and stick around. This channel is predominantly vlogs and pretty casual content but I do have other videos elsewhere - linked below!
That black label is next level, love it 😍 Also love the sound of midnight margaritas ❤ I agree with what others have said about vlogmas - don’t burn yourself out, every other day or even weekly is fine
Excited for all the new candles! I don’t mind an every other day vlog for Vlogmas. I prefer longer vlogs anyway. Whatever works for you, I’ll be watching anyway. 😊
I didn't just leave my car unlocked in a public car park the other week dropping my son at nursery. I left the door wide open, with my work iPhone in the holder. It was.....fine! But I did have to take a good look at what is going on in my life that's resulting in this next level of ADHD scatterbrain.
Hi Mikhila! I just wanted to comment in case it’s helpful to you. I just had an esophageal manometry done to rule-out a motility disorder. What you’ve described about swallowing is what it tests for (movement thru your digestive system). It’s not a comfortable test, but it was definitely a helpful one for me. Might be worth a discussion with a GI. Also - wanted to give you a big virtual hug. Us women have to constantly fight for ourselves in the healthcare space, especially with chronic conditions. Wishing you well!
Love the black labels so much, So excited for my Autumn/ Christmas orders and I don't care if it's July lol. I watch your Vlogmas, if you chose weekly, alternate days or daily, I'll watch them all!
I don’t typically comment, and I’m not sure if this will be helpful. I was diagnosed with a stomach ulcer a couple of months ago, I’ve had frequent stomach issues & could live on gaviscon. The early signs were a lot of fullness and bloating which I ignored, then over a few months it got worse and one night got so bad I was crying on the phone to 111. They seem to think the trigger was one too many ibuprofen and I am notorious for drinking coffee on an empty stomach for too long. I’m on omeprezole now and the symptoms have almost gone away, except if I drink too much water, it triggers the uncomfortable feeling again. It might be worth asking the doctor for a course of omeprezole and see how that goes. Just be prepared that they will also recommend some lifestyle changes e.g caffeine, energy drinks, processed & fatty foods (these are all great, but not worth giving yourself an ulcer over, believe me rocking in pain will put you off anything). I hope this is some what helpful!
I also hope I don’t sound too pushy! I didn’t listen to people about the coffee on an empty stomach and correct ibuprofen dosage for years. I also hate going to the doctors for the fear of not being taken seriously, since my initial ulcer appointment, I just request my medication online & don’t actually need to see anyone. Have a look on your doctors website, they might have a similar medication request portal. Antacid medicine is fairly common so you might not need an appointment
This vlog reflects how my Sunday is going so far 😩 I was doing my usual Sunday morning clean, looked out the back window in passing, and suddenly I’m like “oooh, a little cherry tree would be perfect out there” An hour later and I’ve ordered far more plants than I actually need, and started decluttering the kitchen for about the fourth time this year
I have the same thing with drinking water and have had it for over 10 years now! It's a hiatus hernia (stomach) and that causes GERD too .. plus amongst all the pop I drink lol. Too much acid in the stomach will also cause that and what helped me is stop eating junky stuff ,drinking fizzy drinks and citrus fruits. Caffeine is also very bad as makes it worse. Lots of people have that type of hernia and even a little one will make you feel that water stops or trickle down slowly if that makes sense
Hi, I'm not trying to diagnose you, but I have an autoimmune condition PBC that affects my bile ducts/liver. Some of the symptoms include fatigue, itchness, stomach issues and it took me forever to get over a hangover. NHS site will give you more information if you wanted to have a look xxx
Costco do frozen wonton soup. It has the same effect as a ramen but cheaper. Their dim sum is also amazing. Love me a ramen , waggas s defo healing food
Our last washer was a washer/dryer. Never used it. We hang dry for so many reasons. Energy costs for one but for clothes, I like to hang them on hangers because I don’t iron. If I put something in a dryer, I’d have to either remember to take it out quickly and fold it (absolutely never going to happen) or iron the very crumpled ball that sat in that dryer for 3 days
Depending on the day i can feel like i have indigestion just from drinking water and difficulty swallowing as though throat is closing, as i never visit the doctors i just put up with it , pethaps i shouldnt but its the norm for me now. Have a lovely weekend xx
I get that. I have an hiatus hernia. A whole in the diaphragm your stomach pushes through. I discovered this with a camera down the throat. I also choke on fizzy drinks, water and my own spit. Yes I've had where you swallow water and get pain in chest. It feels like esophagus has a spasm. I was told to eat healthier because mine was small.
Hi! Just wanted to comment in relation to your query about stomach/Indigestion issues. I have been diagnosed with something called chronic gastoesophageal reflux disease after a lots of years of eating processed foods, a LOT of carbonated drinks and a lot of rich food as well a sweet stuff (chocolate is my downfall!!!) This left me with symptoms such as chronic Indigestion, feeling sick and my stomach and throat feeling generally uncomfortable everytime I ate. It ended up with me becoming really unwell and not being able to keep any food and drink down. Once I was diagnosed I was prescribed omeprazole which helps keeps my symptoms at bay but I do still suffer if I drink a can of coke. Was just wondering if your symptoms might be something similar and it may be worth having a read online!!! 😊
Co-codamol makes my skin itchy when I take it for my back. If you still take that perhaps this could be the cause. Looked for the melatonin patches and there no longer on the web site 😢
No way!! I wonder why?! Also the symptoms I mentioned are all 10+ years so nothing new which is why I ignored them but maybe it’s time to mentioned them to a go
I think you should go! I was gluten intolerant and didn’t know. Headaches, neck aches, bloating, indigestion, reflux, skin itching all cleared up. I am sorry to give unsolicited advice I just hope you feel better!
I get food or my tablets stuck I suffer with reflux and reflux tends to do that . Plus I get itchy my doctor thinks it may be my tablets I take or my liver causing it doctor stopped my anti histamines because they are not working got to ring make app to see doctor to see if I can a different tablet to help with my itching. Xx
Ask to speak to a nurse or ACP rather than a GP - I have always found that a) they have more time to talk and listen b) if they think you need to see a GP they sort it and the resultant appointment is much better. That is what happened the last 2 times I actually was in need of medical /clinical help x
I remember when you loves wildfox jumpers always used to do the weather talk on the way to work and ypu had an obession with making this thing for dinner involving i think it was green beans bacon and i something else im a long time viewer the first video i watches of you was using that lee stafford hair that bever grows past a certain length product how long ago was that x
