No you have it all wrong. They are not pandering to the woke minority, they are conducting social engineering of beliefs and opinions under funding from Black Rock and Vanguard (WEF/UN) who have created this movement via the ESG program. Meeting DEI (Diversity Equity & Inclusion) targets is now mandatory for most companies to get capital backing and bank finance. At the end of the day Hollywood is a business NO AMOUNT of ideology would rule their decisions and its not profitable to pander to less the 1% of the worlds population. They are making money, just not from the box office like before..
The fact that people are scared of 'wokeness' when right wing domestic terrorism grows daily is a true demonstration of the capitalism's domination of American thought. If you're worried about wokeness you're worried about the wrong thing. You should be worried that Disney literally owns damn near every major media franchise out there today, not OMG a TrAnS person or 'one of them gay people they talk about so much on the teevees'. SMDH.
The first thing you need to ask yourself before spending several hundred million dollars on a project like this is who is your audience. Frankly I don't see who would be interested in watching this. Disney have alienated the traditional star wars fan base and frankly their new audience only exists in the minds of Kathleen Kennedy and Leslie Headland..
Woke garbage Disney has destroyed everything I enjoyed growing up Marvel comics, Star Wars, Indiana Jones etc. The sooner they go bankrupt and sell these franchises to people who actually care about them the happier I’ll be.
Nah, this movie was not a good look for marvel It felt like they were saying " Hey look at these female superheros with superpowers and this female villain " The story was so bad , I couldn't believe this made the final cut , i mean are the writers and director stupid
DEI isn't the future or is it sustainable under it's own weight. It is not something that has any leverage especially when the people claiming there are wrongs, are actually claiming it about things that have been long past. The learning or propaganda that students get at colleges and so forth are only about trying to whip people up to get incensed over things that they want people angry over to re-open wounds that have healed. Thanks DIZNEE you've made yourself obsolete to me and my family, I will not be buying any legacy or new products that you will be making. I have a responsibility to my family my wife and child that what we bring into our home is not going to be something that will only erode our love for each other or make them get angry at things that aren't even closely somewhat the things that have been in the past. I have better things to spend my money on than buying your claptrap, same thing for KK. You've made my life easier by making sure that what you're planning is obnoxious trash.
you people are gullible , it's never about money , they don't care about loosing it , since their main objective is to brainwash humanity and turn them all lgtqhd , hollywood is satanic , full of pdos and rap-ists , and lately been using people of color to push their agenda
The irony is that the one good character to come out of the Multiverse Saga-- that being John Walker AKA U.S. Agent-- is the one the writers want me to hate because he's a white man, and yet he's quickly become one of my favorite characters in the MCU right now.

It has NOT been a rollercoaster for Disney. It has been a loooong drop. They are zero for 14 on making $ on movies, and the TV shows are just as bad (but harder to get metrics).
IMO "Godzilla Minus One" is a MASTERPIECE! It's outstanding at every level. It has amazing visuals as well as deep and intriguing human conflict, something that the previous films have no concept of. I loved the showa series when I was a kid...because those films and most of what followed were made for children on a child's mental level. FUN, but nothing more than fireworks. Just "oooh...ahhh... Okay, let's go home". Minus One was made in the spirit of the original 1953 "Gojira" and appeals to adults with more real-world conflicts and situations. The attention to historical detail in this film shouldn't be ignored either! It's INCREDIBLE! Not to bash previous films; it's all a matter of personal taste. Like what you like.
shehulk was bad. but your half minute celebration of it at the beginning was enough for me to stop the video and go watch something else. you're worse actually, absolute cringe
I disagree with some of your statements....It does in part have to do with gender politics. Its fairly obvious people dont need lectures and constantly throwing sword fighting dudes in bed at us. Its fine having sucj=h things in movies because in the end it does represent a small segment of the population....which in turn makes sense that would show up here and there. Not every single waking moment possible with a lecture attached. Part of why there stories are garbage is because they in fact are putting gender politics along with other agenda based storylines in at the expense of a great story. Imo, it has everything to do with why they are tanking.
Fans are the last people studios should listen to. Hollywood is in this mess, because they cared too much about fan/nerd culture. To the point they turned away the general audience. The films that succeeded appealed to casual moviegoers and the general public. Whether it was due to feeling fresh, or just prioritizing quality.
Hear hear brother, scream this louder to all the fan-culture types. Amen! Exactly the problem. Fandom can be great, but the obsessed / know-it-all types got go and are ruining it for the rest of us.
And to think we could've had a great Hulk show directed by Guillermo del Toro (the guy who made Hellboy 1 and 2) and he wanted to make it comic accurate with a dark tone and bring in the lor, the characters and stories we wanted to see. Imagine how epic that would've been not just for the MCU but for Hulk fans especially, we never get anything. But instead Kevin Feige said no and we got shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which was good but then we got Cloak and Dagger and Runaways and Inhumans all while they kept Hulk in limbo and no it's not because of Universal, it's because Disney can't be bothered to try. They had all the power to make a Hulk Series but they refused cus they clearly don't care and would rather make more stuff like She-Hulk and The Marvel's instead. Remember Universal has no say in a solo Hulk Project unless it's about distribution and if Marvel asked and they said no then all that means is that Marvel can go ahead and do it themselves and make all the profits. We almost had something great and look what they decided to do. If things were going in the right direction we'd have 5 to 6 Hulk movies by now,. Remember when Marvel use to bring their Comic writers as consultants and even Co-Writers for their animated movies and shows? Whatever happened to that? Why can't we have Peter David or Paul Jenkins or Greg Pak or Al Ewing y'know? the people who made Hulk a great household name to begin with? It's not like their all unavailable, their still very much so and I'm sure would be delighted to bring to life some of their best stories. But no instead let's hire the writers from Rick and Morty and not even the good ones. Man Hulk fans really can't catch a break, we were all denied Solo Hulk films for year's since 2008, We couldn't even get a good Hulk show weather animated or live action, and we can't even get a new Video Game since Activision pretty much berried all the prior developers for any potential Solo Hulk Games like Ultimate Destruction. Hell We were even gonna get an anime way back when Marvel Anime was a thing and Mad House was gonna make but then like everything else it got cancelled and we never got it. Imagine a Mad House Hulk Anime, It be like a mix of One Punch Man and some Attack on Titan. And we couldn't even get that. Hulk Fans deserve better, She- Hulk deserved better and Hulk Deserves better
Who says that we still can't have that? Marvel Studios has complete ownership ot the Hulk movie franchise, and with the old characters returning, we could potentially have a Hulk film again.
with how large of a quality drop they have had in the last few years i personally don't want them touching hulk doom or any of my favourites they already butchered gorr i don't want to see any other great character's turned into abominations thanks.@@Unversed333
Studios that listen to fans will lose - fans are all over the place and don't have an idea what they want. There is not one collective voice. Fans should make their own movies, but if they did they'd find out quick they suck at making movies! Nothing in life is easy as people think.
I love all of your points, but unfortunately, the studios don’t care about thematic coherence or engaging storytelling anymore. Even if they wanted to change trajectory now, there’s no talent there to tell the kind of stories that audiences actually want to see.
i want a monster movie that focuse on the monster like all we ever see is them destroying stuff i wanna see the daily life of a kaiju with some destruction in it
This one is good but not better better than 2014 Godzilla and no where near better than Godzilla versus King Kong and Godzilla king of the monsters i don't think so,not a good opinion and its not a cinematic masterpiece and not a super powerful movie ,its just a good movie i saw it in theater and i like this version but its no where near Godzilla versus King Kong and the new ones we have now , and remember this director made he's version of Godzilla and the ones that came out in 2014 and 219 and 2021 are separate versions so its not good to compare at all .
Agree to disagree… Even Garret Edwards (Director of Godzilla 2014) said this movie is what Godzilla is and should be. If you don’t believe me, then look it up because I ain’t doing the homework for you.
In an age where videos are mostly made to get the maximum out of an algorythm, thank you very much for making the video a concise (and strong!) essay rather than making a 40 minutes video out of thin air for max ad placements. I feel like this is what the (entertainment part of the) internet was made for. Thank you for reminding me of a time when RU-vid was not about 5+ placed ads per video and sponsership announcements.
Recent Disney flops... You mean the monsterverse... They growing franchise with a successful fantastic TV show with a consistently high IMDb rating.... It could be better. But let's not put down the monsterverse to make it seem better. The fact it's better than something successful is surely a bigger flex. If the Disney one is a flop, -1 being better means nothing.
