I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for your support.
Weather plays important role too. In coming tide, sun rise sun set, avoiding full moon, a bit windy and luck. Ex: you fish in sun rise and the in coming tide, it is perfect cond and only thing stop you is your luck 😬
What is the lightest lure weight suitable for your rod? Im looking at getting the 9'6''/PE3/Cast 80g version and was wondering how much under the max lure weight is still usable.
Hi Timmy, sorry for late reply. for my rod is 15g is the lightest lure it can use. Can I have the model name of the rod you are looking at? So I can give you the best advice
Nice video mate! Is this location more towards peninsula or Phillip island way? Not asking for exact location. Just trying to catch some decent salmon!
It is a really good rod because it is 11 ft and 2 pieces. So it is a bit hard to carry around. If you like something like 11ft I recommend Shimano Nessa, its 3 pieces rod
Shimano Silent Assassin 99. You can check this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x5nKYtLO8N8.html. I put all detail under the video.
That second take was actually your lure getting stuck in the weed closer to them rocks. I know exactly where this spot is. All in all good uploads on your jigging videos. If you hit these previous spots again this time of year you might get luck with a kingi.
I don't help the "social", but I help the local. Take a look by yourself to Mt. MARTHA and another spots where are hard for cleaning up, there are tons of garbage. Cheers
@@edwardleung997 yup thats what I try to say. if you know the Wyndham rock wall, the council built the gate to stop ppl fishing, because some fisherman always leave garbage and many pier too.
yup If you use sinker, I won't recommend, because there is a huge reef under. If you use the method, I mentioned in the video with a float on the top, it would be much better. Cheers
Enjoy having the full ocean for yourself mate keep fishing while I’m out here in horrible spots haven’t caught a legal sized fish and keep having to return them for like 5 years
@@anasmoey9138 Half the fun is finding new spots. If you're reluctant to do the research at home using google maps/earth then I understand why you haven't caught a legal fish in 5 years. Put the time in.
