I've never really comprehended UH. like how are you keeping diseases up? UH blight puts them up but once they fall off? and festering strikes? idk man. I really wanna get it down and learn it
If you don't have blight, you use Outbreak to keep them up, Festering strike is not really used single target IIRC (except if you need wounds for Apocalypse)
Once you’re disease get low you use Outbreak or Unholy Blight to reapply them. You only really festering strike if you have no RP, or no wounds at all, then you could strike to get some wounds/RP, or to build wounds for Apocalypse, I’ll probably make an in-depth UH rotation guide once TWW drops
Good video, a couple thoughts. Take a couple minutes during your editing process and improve audio volumes. Make sure game and voice are on two different channels. A couple of times your voice was hard to hear because of combat. Also, both intro and outro were way to loud. Lastly, write a scrip. Rehearse it and you will see a huge improvement in your videos. For your channel size you are looking great just some critique maybe you were not looking for haha
Nice guidance, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'd prioritize crit over mastery since its value diminishes quiet hard after reaching 70% baseline, which is not a lot considering you will have at least one BSL active. And speaking of embellishments, I wouldnt wanna join a key without haste pants honestly, since that mini bloodlust (3,6k haste) at the start of every pull fuels your pillar burst so hard. Can see going for double BSL for higher tyra keys like ruby or hoi though were its all about the boss deeps.
How do you deal with popping cooldowns after the opening phase? Specifically with icecap shortening the pillar CD, pillar is often not up when my 2min CDs (abom limb, runic weapon, raise dead) are ready. Is there a benefit to waiting and using them all together, or just using them individually as soon as each is up again?
I’ll usually try to hold them for every third pillar. Since Pillar is like a 45 second cooldown now, it’s up at 45, 1:30, and 2:15, I’ll hold my 2 mins to pop at 2:15 with pillar again usually. You absolutely want ERW during Pillar.
You can use Festering Strike to generate wounds in ST and AoE, but you’re only really doing that outside CDs when you have downtime in rotation as you are usually flooded with resources during CDs
what weak aura or addon is the button pressing scrolling on the bottom left next to stats? want that so i can see what buttons im pressing in order, i like that
That is TrufiGCD, I believe there is also a way to turn in something like that in details, I think it’s like streamer mode or something in details, but I just use TrufiGCD

You’ll use it in ST yes to generate wounds, in AoE, you will maybe press it once or twice, but you almost always have wounds from either Unholy Assault or you pet spreading wounds, and in AoE you are priority dumping runic power into Epidemic, then generating RP by Scourge Striking in your Defile
No, you definitely want to spend Rime procs before GA/Frost Strike, as Howling Blast also generates Killing Machine procs. You never want to cast a Howling Blast without a Rime proc during pillar though. Pocket Anvil is quite good for Frost, especially in raid. In keys it’s a little less so, since it’s sometimes hard to keep it up between packs, but if that’s what you got then you can definitely roll with it
After looking at the talents and looking at them for a day lol. I feel like Rider nails the theme but is really just good and overhyped its mostly just making the horses relevant i Dont care that its all passive im fine with that even though it seems to be the most common complaint. Deathbringer imho seems actually better and is so underhyped.
Yea Deathbringer is definitely being overshadowed by the Rider hype. This tree seems like it has some great AoE damage as well as very cool synergies in the tree itself, and the visuals could be amazing. I feel like Blood will definitely use it and Frost might as well.
@@Cirillantv TBH if going of currebt dk if the specs dont get the reworks i honestly think they are in need of. BoS may choose to play rider but oblit i could see playing deathbringer.
Yea I realized what I said after posting haha. I meant more like you literally take Army no matter what as Unholy, but Frostfyrms Fury isn’t necessarily always a lock for Frost

So my 4th source looks like Sweeping Class, is that what you are talking about! If so, make sure you have it activated to auto cast in your pet bars, and make sure your pet is t in passive mode
i have big prob with my unholy, 50k+ dps only singletarget with 444 ilvl :/ my stats are not best mastery 60%+ and crit 29% and haste 16% only but still should be higher dps
Man you and meeres are the only 2 that really cover stuff for Dk's. I dont say pumps because he always has his team play around him with constant PI and buffs that the average olayer isnt going to get pampered with.
There are several things you can do to reduce inputs or automate some behaviours: Before casting Dark Transformation you always spend the energy on the pet first since DT refreshes your pets Energy bar. #showtooltip Dark Transformation /cast Sweeping Claws /cast Dark Transformation Unholy Assault and empower rune weapon go very well with each other and since ERW is off gcd you can have them on the same button. Probably you also want to use your trinket here. #showtooltip Unholy Assault /use 13 /cast Unholy Assault /cast Empower Rune Weapon AMZ and AMS can be a good combination, although there are situations where you might want to use AMZ as an external. So either having a nomod or another pure amz keybind may help. #showtooltip /cast [@cursor] Anti-Magic Zone /cast [nomod:alt] Anti-Magic Shell I like to remind my pet to attack a good target by makroing petattack to Festering Strike because FS will only land on a priority target. It definitely takes some practice to get down. Lots of buttons to press, def harder than some other classes to learn. But I like complex so I enjoy it :) same as comment on other vid
i ran arenas and the most worst thing they took was my abomination because people wouldn't stop crying blizzard need to leave unholy alone i don't care what its for i don't run mythics everyday the season changes to fast to care what bis for anyone.

honestly I've never played unholy dk in my life I tried watching bicepspump so many times i could not get unholy down.. after watching Cirillan I picked that shit up so fast! love Cirillan <3 unholy dk is my official main now and the first toon ever in my wow life to hit 2700k io look up Blankyy on zuljin! raiderio!! Great video, I am experiencing situations where my damage is not consistent. Sanguine causes tanks to pull smaller mobs and I find myself using Soul Reaper / Reaping instead of Abam limb as this past week was Tryannical. Idk if that is correct or not. I am in 14-16 Mythics right now. I was using AoD on CD so I am wondering if that ability should be saved for ST fights like bosses. I have been on a Claw of Shadows build for a while. Is Disease build better suited at 14 or higher keys? I am over 60% Mastery but my Haste is way lower. My Crit is over 20%. I don't have the 4 tier set yet since I have not gotten drops the past week or two. I also find my Defile whiffing since the tank most of time kites mobs away from me. Idk what to do to improve at this point.
Your stats are ok, you will definitely gain a major bump in damage once you get 4 piece, our 4 set is great this season. Focus on getting that 4-set, then practicing your rotation as much as you can. I'd recommend going the build in this guide. I use it for Fortified and Tyrannical and do perfectly fine. Don't drop Abom for Soul Reaper, Abom goes great damage and utility in keys. Never really hold CDs, slam them pretty much on CD in dungeons, no reason not too. As far as tanks and Defile, that is a never ending problem for us, best case is to say something when you drop Defile, but again, this is a reoccurring problem whit needing to be in Defile for extra damage. But like I said, use these talents, get 4-set, and hit all your buttons on CD in dungeons, and you will surely see some damage improvements!
DKs don’t get invited to keys even at 3k IO I have a hard time getting into keys so my advice would be to do what I did and begin tanking, farm all your dps gear as a tank and dps when you can. It worked out great have never gotten 3k before but as a tank instant invite
It will most likely die to either a random swirly, a firestorm, the frontal, or a blaze. The odds of it being hit by a mechanic are much higher if it’s just sitting there
