RC Hard Body Trail Trucks RC Crawlers, Scale Crawlers, Scaler 4x4s, Trail Rigs, Tiny Trucks; Whatever you call them, I'm into them. I build them, modify them, make parts for them, and sometimes destroy them. It's all for posterity, after all.
I have a vattera 5k blazer I would like to put an interior in it where can I find that would fit perfectly and the hard body would be nice too to put on my vattera frame I liked yours looks awesome n thanks for sharing your video 😊
Haha! I use the profits from ShrinkRC to buy more RC trucks so I can make more RC truck parts! In the real world I design audio products for the off road industry.
Solid guy have his mounts for my fordyce with a Scottsdale body . He’s always there to answer any questions you might have . Amazing customer service glad he puts these mounts out for us
Your awsome man I can’t think of anyone who is as friendly, informative, helpful, great attitude and still are willing to make sure people can make the rigs they want whether you have been following shrink rc for a long time or just came over 🎉your a awsome dude man great work !!!!!!!!
The key to TRX4 is to remove the stock battery tray, and remove the upper support between the rear shock towers. Check out my TRX4 videos for Mojave 4 door and Chevy truck. Also check out my Xtracab videos for VS410. Then set the body on there with the interior and see where it hits. Write to me at jesse@shrinkrc.com if you still have questions.
All of our mounts for Enduro will fit the Zuul and Ecto frame. But the Zuul and Ecto have very long wheelbases and will need to be converted to a 4 link in the rear, if you want the bed to line up correctly. I have details about this on the website. ShrinkRC.com
Stock links, you just need longer rod ends on one end, all four links. Use these, and you might need to trim them a little: www.avantlink.com/click.php?tool_type=cl&merchant_id=4b85b2b7-558e-4304-89fc-54958c8f47f0&website_id=e47f8f9d-e7c7-4905-bf2e-7001163325f5&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amainhobbies.com%2Ftraxxas-rod-ends-w-hollow-balls-12-tra5525%2Fp19147
Everything you’re putting out is awesome. I just ordered everything to convert my Traxxas Sport High Trail over to the Blazer along with all the accessories for it also.
I’ve got a TRX4 Sport High Trail that I’m gonna do this conversion to. I think it will be cool to have a lifted Blazer. I wanted to ask, did you have to relocate the rear shock mounts? I’m lovin your videos. I’ve already ordered a couple sets of your mounts to convert my Fordyce trucks over Yota hard bodies.
Yes, you'll need to drill a new hole in the frame to move the rear towers forward. I think I put the back hole of the shock tower on the last hole, then added a new hole for the front hole of the shock tower.
The element Enduro is the most versatile chassis of all of them. It can be configured by just changing the rear links to a 11.8 or 12.0 or 12.3 or 12.8 inch wheelbase. It can also be made an 11.4 inch wheelbase by using Traxxas short rod ends with the 11.8 rear links. I have more body options for element than any other platform.

That's a good point, I will try to remember. You can always ask me. When it comes to RC4WD bodies, 4.75" will never fit without major hacking. 4.19" will fit Mojave bodies with some rubbing, but they will require trimming with Xtrcab, 4runner, and Chevys. 3.9" tires or smaller will usually fit with no trimming.
My project now is RC4WD Chevrolet K10 body on Ascent Fusion. Project is in the stage "where do I get more money :)", since I blew up most of RC budget on Ascent itself.
@@YUNGHENNEY Hi you will need shorter rear links, Use rod ends (AX31186), upper links (AX31421), lower links (AX31419), and set screws (AX31343) to get a 11.4" wheelbase. Or you can make custom rear links, I have a video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xarp2kymeVQ.htmlsi=NiY200-mryIsOWMB
These always look so nice, but I can never bring myself to building one because I don't like the idea of having run the small tires. The 4.75s are a huge advantage when offloading. Looks really nice tho, Great work....
Thank you very much! It's true nothing can make up for the performance of a 4.75 but it can be fun to challenge yourself with tiny tires. Be sure to check out my video on my SCX Pro Mojave 4 door, its running 4.75's
@shrinkrc I'm definitely watching that, Thank you. Do you sell the Mohave body or just the parts to make it work ? would you recommend Amain Hobbys or someone ? Again, thank you, and your builds are absolutely amazing 👏🏻 💯
@@ConditionZero76 I only sell body mounts and accessories, no bodies. Unfortunately it seems RC4WD has discontinued the 4 door mojave body which is a serious bummer. Another option is to build a truggy style Mojave 2 door. Amain Hobbies is top notch and I absolutely recommend them for anything RC.
Nope nope and nope. Cantilever all the way. And use shrink rc mounts to mount it. Then get yourself a killer body trx4 battery try. Lowers the battery to fit hard body pickups also allows you to use interiors
🤣 Keep in mind the caster on the front portals pushes the front wheels forward about 5mm. Also portals raise the center of gravity because the axles are 10mm higher off the ground. I'm a fan of straigt axles personally but that comes down to personal preference. Some say straight axles look more scale, but of course there are 1:1 rigs on portals.
