You need Vida program, but you also need Vida subscription from Volvo, otherwise you do not have access to the database. Only car workshop can register for subscription to Vida database. The car keys that can be programmed, can be bought from an actorized Volvo car dealer/workshop.
Hi. Sorry to ask here. I saw in your other video about a volvo key programming. I am from Brazil and I have a volvo s40 2001 without any alarm remote control. The car is equipped with the system, but the remotes are lost. I plan to buy one used remote in USA and pay a volvo dealer here to program for me. The question is do you know if this early models do not need the 16 digit code for enable the programming of remote?
And I know for a fact what you say about your cost to program a key for this freak of cars is true I'm just amazed there enough idiot's in Atlanta who purchased a jaguar for damn sure every 1 they sold the proud owner will find himself stranded in center because there hi tech Jaguar has blocked the owner from his own car no thief is going to steal a jaguar if you leave the door open and the key on the dash which is another engineering blunder I'm pissed with this money pit I'm thinking of having a cook out
The sooner jaguar goes out of business the better this world will be if they sold these cars New for 20k in 5 years you would only lose 19,750 if today's scrap value holds

You're just upset nobody is giving you a free handout. In this industry, networking and researching is vital. And this is what separates a great locksmith from a schmuck who kicks the can and complains about others methods and tools.
Still don't go so cheap BC any problem can happen on a job like a Jag you need to cover yourself as well. And Avdi is good some of the other programmers say they can do the job but then fail on you.
