Looks awesome! I’m looking at replacing my wheels. I’m worried about fitment. What diameter, width, and offset are those RFP1’s and are you happy with how they fit in terms of clearance? Thanks!!
the Trailing plugs on my 87 turbo Always were fouling, and not firing if checked with a timing light... the Lead plugs were fine... whether it was the trailing plug igniter or coil or just needing slightly hotter plugs, it was always causing a loss of lowend torque on mine... get them to fire reliably and power was back.
the fc will hold up but an fd is closer to a dream car for many. the problem with the fd is it was discontinued in the states so only you aussies got the best generations. a lot of the hype surroumding the final gen has died as they look like a beater miata with a body kit. i would get the money out of the fd for sth else and have the fc as its not gonna break your bank.
If you were to run those work wheels on the stock FC fenders you would obviously need coilovers. And a front a rear camber kit. But how much camber do you think you would need to run front and rear? Also would that mean rolling and potentially pulling the front and rear fenders?
Good for you, Bryan screwed me on an engine build for an FD about 6 years ago :/ he is lucky that money wasnt hard to come by else i would have taken action. And i dont mean lawyers and lawsuits..

Long story short i contacted him we set up a plan gave him a downpayment to get started, received a call every few days or so where he upselled on extra things like water jacket mod, 3mm ceramic apex seals, light/balance rotors, extrude and hone upper and lower intake.. got receipts was gave pictures of certain things that could have been from any project.. after all was said and done about 10k and when i picked it up was misfiring on the top end he drove me in it initially and would keep it floored through the misfires sounded like we were making popcorn under the hood he shrugged it off and claimed it had to break in engine put miles on it and the issue would go away.. my first rotary i was a bit naive but took his word for it.. about 500 miles later lost compression on rear rotor.. took it toRaphael at 3face Racing where he pulled it open IN FRONT OF ME to find that almost none of what i paid for was there.. except for the 3mm apex seals.. which were shattered and fragments embedded everywhere and also took out the gt35r.. made a post to rx7club where two of his buds decided to make it seem as if i was somehow at fault or wasnt being honest.. If it wasnt for Raph at 3face the car would have been a total loss.. he streetported a fresh 13b rew, slapped another gt35r on tuned it to 12 psi made 420ish and i had a blast no problems for 20k miles before i sold it..
Sonoma green. Noted. Get a faakn muffler on that thing pronto. I honestly thought about this channel earlier today not having watched it since that peeling rx7 video and here we are. Suspicious minds may think forces are at work, and indeed they are. 23 will be the return of a lot of people I believe.
