When you cover the lamp with sheets of clay does it ever crack during the drying process? I covered a glass jar and it cracked in several places!! Not sure what I did wrong!
It really depends on the brand of your clay. I usually use DAS and don't have many problems with cracks. You have to remember that air dry clay shrinks when drying, so maybe don't put it too tight around the jar ☺️
I've never used this glue, so I can't tell you exactly. But as long it dries out transparent, that should be good. Try on small piece of paper at first.
I love charity shops in UK. The beauty of it is that we buy cheap and we contribute to charity. I love buying something and transforming it to something new. Some clothes are from really good cotton fabric. I like to turn into, for example, small herbal sachets. The list of ideas is endless 🙂. It's great to see you show it on the channel. Love it❤
You can level the bottom of the dishes by rubbing them on sand paper when dry. It’s just as easy as using a stick and less messy (wet messy) some good ideas tho.
