Also, I wanted to ask if there's a way for a normal person like me to have a visit to this dam for recreational purposes. I occasionally pass by the Ghazi barrage but never had the chance to see this mighty dam up close in person. Kindly drop a guide 🙏
Just asking for no particular reason (out of curiosity you could say), what would be the destruction impact of this dam in case it breaks off, assuming the nearby populated areas are Ghazi, topi etc.? How far will it's impact reach?
You know its peak season of water and also dam is nearly to be filled, that's why we release extra water through spillway. Also river kabul have increase trend of discharge due to moansoan rains...So once thay combined, create situation of flood
Siren on for just to aware people around the spillways and once the spillways operate it will turned off...Thank you for yr comment and follow the channel for more interesting vedios please
Why is this water released? And where does it go? Does it cause harm to people living nearby? Don't we have any solution of using this water effectively? Or releasing is necessary?
Its to create space for flood on timely basis and also for dam safety as dam is near to its full level... Secondly it have no effect on near by people c/z these water discharges to same place where water discharge from power house.... Power house are under construction to utilize the spillways water in future. Thanks
