Hey! This video really helped me start my streaming so thank you so much for that! I do have one question, I was originally using my headset as a mic, and was struggling to find a real balance on it. My teammates were always much louder than me in my stream. I’ve messed with so many settings and just decided to buy an external mic instead. But now there is an echo bc my external mic and my headset mic are both being heard through the stream. Is there a way that I can turn down the volume on my headset mic FOR THE STREAM ONLY? I obviously don’t want to turn it down or mute it in game because I play with my friends. I also would like to keep the ability of hearing the chat audio in stream- so that my chat can hear my friends as well. I have an Xbox series S and I currently have the strange wire configuration you showed in this video as the set up for my stream. Any advice would be much appreciated 🙏🫶🏼
trying this. the sound is very very quiet. is it the aux quality? or the adapter quality? or is it that ps5 thinks it is actual headphones and doesn't want it to be too loud? I'm starting my journey as an otr trucker and I only have a monitor with no sound i got from my fiancee cause she had an extra monitor from work. i bought a double jack adapter at a flying J. and a second adapter for the type c it came with. connected them to my ps5 and the sound comes in through my speaker. however it is very very quiet.
@@AshishVerma-hl9il Yes, DisplayPorts are designed asymmetrical so you can only plug it in one way. It’s not a mini DisplayPort adapter. Interesting comment from someone with 2 subscribers, gg. I’ll pray for you to be a better person. The world needs more kindness.
I purchased a display adapter and followed the instructions in your video. I now have 120hz at 1080P. My only question is regarding sound. I was using a sound extractor with the hdmi cables to use with my surround sound speakers. Now that I have a display adapter connected to my Xbox and a display cable going directly to the display port on my monitor, am I limited to just getting sound from my monitors speakers?
Can this adapter fix ghosting on my koorui gn07 monitor? Its ips and this shouldnt have ghosting with ips. + I have a soup image with hdmi 2.0 because series doesnt support with that hdmi 1440p 120hz.
@@itsjustsimply8154 since making this video, I have seen mixed reviews on it working or not. It’s been a couple years now. At the time, I tested it on my PS5 and monitor with Fortnite, and it worked. Amazon has a great return policy, so no real risk in giving it a try.
@@JarellPuffDizzle I think it may have got replaced with an updated version. I never changed my link, but it looks like a new product since I made this video.
today i was going to buy a new monitor 21:9 for my ps5 with serious price & after cheching your video ive got its just a zoom not real 21:9, thank you docvalentino
@@SlimFoti-kw6yp Thank you for the kind words! I started a new job close to 2 1/2 years ago, and it’s just been difficult to find time to make videos. I feel like I was finally getting decent at it. My intent is to make more in the future, but it will probably shift away from gaming into a broader spectrum.
Hopefully I get a reply : I need an adapter that is compatible with 120hz bc the adapter I have (Astro adapter) but it caps at 60hz on my ps5.. They basically didn’t say this when I purchased it and now I’m stuck having to only use the mix amp plugged into my ps without the hdmi adapter to run at 120 frames.. Hopefully im making sense here idk I’m just tired of trying to find something that doesn’t hinder my gaming
I have a LG ultra gear that doesn't have speakers and I've been upset that I can't play certain games without speakers. Thank you for this video I was looking numerous times and finally found your video!
I wish stuff like this is plug and play. I use an standard Seagate Harddrive to capture gameplay with an gaming headset with mic. But cant get to have the mic working in the recording. If i have to get all this stuff in the video just to record an vid with me speaking, isnt worth my time.
