We have been a camping family since our kids were little. We purchased 2020 Road Warrior 430RW in November of 2019. This was our first brand new trailer, and we are LOVING IT. While we have a lot of videos of our camping adventures and fun ATV trails or lakes, we also like to spend time exploring other areas as well, especially Las Vegas! We hope you enjoy catching our moments of adventures with us! Please be sure to like our videos and subscribe to our channel to join our Moments of Adventure!
I love watching your videos. Gives me ideas of where to ride with my wife. Quick question. I have the same sxs, what size tire and make are you riding on? Thank you!!
Hi Mark! Glad you are enjoying the videos! We sure enjoy making them! :) We ride on 32 in. KM3 Mud terrain. You will need a clutch kit when you increase your tire size, or you will be going through belts like a beast! Hope you get some great riding in this summer!
I love ur experience in detail! You guys seemed to have so much fun! You guys made me feel like I was there with you. The whole time I was thinking tht I wouldve had a BLAST w/them! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the video. I live two hours south of Cedar Buff, I have friends that camp there, but ive not been there myself. I'm glad to hear of the size of the camp sites!!
My wife and I are coming to Colorado and Utah this June with our sxs. Your videos help us with our decision to ride and camp. Maybe we will meet you guys out there. Keep up the good work. work.
First off, I really enjoy watching your content. Secondly, we’re traveling to Moab over the pass in Colorado this upcoming week, but we would like to fill our camper water after the pass. Where did you guys fill up?
We fill up in Thompson Springs in Utah. It right before the Moab exit. There is a gas station with water, and air. We usually get gas there, so we are buying something from the station, and then fill up with water. But, I believe you could also fill up in Fruita Colorado. They have a dump station right off the highway, with water as well. Have a great time!
I was analyzing your RU-vid Channel. Your channel and video content are very Good But here are some problems: RU-vid video SEO score is very low. Not SEO friendly title - description - tag are Not SEO friendly Not sharing on social media platforms and your RU-vid channel is a lot of trouble I'm waiting for your reply
I totally agree! That is the odd part of this failure. we were not on the breaks for the switchbacks. We changed out the fluid, and no issues since. Thanks for the comment! :)
We stopped going to the taylor park area in 2014 their was just to much traffic on the trials. The scenery is great and the history stuff is good anyway. we been riding sxs from 2004 the old yamaha rhinos first then cam ams ever since.. Utah and Wyoming . The Paiute 900 miles of trails and Arapeen 600miles of trails in Utah. In Wyoming Albany Lodge area 500 plus miles just some places to ride if you haven't been there.. Great videos keep up the good work!!!
Thanks for all the info ohvfun4198! Taylor park can get busy. We had good luck in 2023. They do an ATV rally there in, I think August. The potential crowds from that time I think would be bad too. :)
I found your video very good. Informative. My daughter Traveling with Jennifer Sparks is sailing today. I was going to text her your recommendations. But i see she has viewed it already. Tell me please, how did you get the thanks button.
Thanks for the feedback! We hop your daughter and her friend are having a fantastic time! I'm not sure about the "thanks" button. If your talking about the door dec, I got it from the dollar store and put magnets on it. Super easy and we could always find our door.
@@MarylnStrashart-il7sb lol. OH yeah.. . We are new to all that! I believe we signed up through youtube for the "super thanks". Still trying to figure it all out! :)
Great video! I wasn’t sure about the steak house but you sold me! Did you think Belize was worth it besides being very hot? Think we may enjoy the quiet ship that day. We want to check out NOLA too after the cruise trying to find somewhere with a washer and dryer! I subbed 😊
In my opinion, the port at Belize was just ok. I will try another excursion, if we go back. I will just pray it does not get cancelled. If you don't have an excursion, a quiet day on the ship would be perfect. Please let me know about the steak house when you go. We just loved it! Thanks for subbing!
The last time we were there we camped off Rd 748 (Coord 38.92735, -106.60803). We normally take Rd 742 north and find an open area for boondocking. There is a full hookup campground by the Trading Post, but we normally boondock out a ways.
Thanks rdcd1234! The summer is the time to go, we usually go in July. Temps are int he 70's and 80's. Even in July, bring a jacket! It's pretty high in altitude, so temps will stay very comfortable (usually). :)
New Orleans is a place you should add to the list of places to go. It is a blast, and so many cool and different places to check out! Cruise was great! That video is coming next week! :) Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching!
Great video, did you stay at Taylor park camping for whole trip. Leaving campground for all the different trails on this video? Was access easy to these trails
Hi @ericafehrenbach660! We did not stay ant the campground during this trip, although we have stayed there before. We like to dry camp out in the forest. Yes, it is easy to access these trails from the campground. There is only one little section of road that you can not drive on, and there is an ATV trail next to the road that you can take. Super easy to get everywhere you need to go. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing our group is planning a trip out there this year October 6th for the week any recommendations on a place to stay we do have one small dog and will be 4 adults
October is a great time to go! If you are set up for dry camping, my favorite place is White Wash Sand Dunes.... You have to drive about an hour on a dirt road, but the views are amazing, and you can park up on a bluff overlooking the sand dunes. There are also several areas closer to Moab as well. If you are looking for a campground,... there are several in town, that look good, but we have never stayed there. If you are looking for hotels, there is a brand new one as your coming into town that looks nice, but again we have not stayed in town. Hope you have a great trip!!
There are better lakes. This lake was great in the 90s. Now its always over crowded and theres always some asshole playing their music loud next to you. It used to be people would give you space. Now your right next to each other. Plus now you have to reserve a spot 30 days in advance which is crazy. Go somewhere else. There are better places. Unless you like the crowded beaches.
Egggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggslent video and content. I Have been there twice, camping next to the Rio Grand. Trout fishing. Thanx for sharing Y'all Rock!
We are still not sure. We cleared the line, and completely changed out the fluid. No issues since! A common thing going down the mountain would be overheated, from riding the breaks down the mountain, but ours were not hot, and we did not ride the breaks down. Who knows... just one of those freaky things, I guess.
So many places we haven’t even tried. We’ve only been around Tucson were we live but the White Mountains in the summer most of the time. @@momentsofadventure
Yes! The campground we were in Mountain Views at Rivers Edge, has full hookups, and access to the trails. You can not ride on main street, but you can get to trails. Hope this helps!
Do they have any day use areas of the beaches or any day parking lots? I'm thinking about visiting for just a day & not camping at the Lake when I make a road trip there in the summer of 2025. I'd like to stay in a motel in Ogallala & drive up to the Lake for a day or even a couple hours of a morning.
Yes, there are day use parking and day use areas at several of the beaches... including the area in this video. They have been roped off in the past... but people have not limited themselves to those areas. Have a great time!
Great question!!! We have not explored all that the "west" has to offer! It also depends on the types of trails and scenery that you like to experience while riding. Colorado has some great trail systems. Most Colorado trails are in mountain and tree areas... great views, and wildlife around. Utah has a good variety too, I would say, mostly rock formations and dessert riding. I have not ridden in Idaho yet, but the areas I've seen look really pretty- again mountain-forest area. The areas we have ridden through Oklahoma and Kansas, are smaller areas, but fun riding. Oklahoma and Kansas would be weekend fun. There are locations in Colorado, and Utah that could fit into weekend fun locations, but there are also areas where you could stay a week or more and still have riding to do (Taylor Park, in Colorado, or Moab in Utah). Although, I understand Moab has recently shut down several hundred miles of trails. I'm not sure where the future of Moab riding stands. We do hope to do more westward riding in the future. Be sure to keep watching the channel, and be sure to let us know if there are areas we should check out!
