This music is some of the most experimental brilliant stuff I've ever heard. It's so unique! Blending angelic operatic voices with electric guitars and military style drums and gregorian chanting! I could see this being a very early prototype to a future musical genre!
I use to love Metroid prime 1 and 2 the most then I played 3, I could never understand why I loved this game too much, music, atmosphere, lore, foreshadowing of Metroid dread 🤣, this game was heaven and hell at the same time, especially vanhalla and phaaze…..
When the trailer first started I was worried it was going to be a more generic space shooter with less exploration and sense of mystery until this bit dropped. It’s obvious now the first part of the trailer is the opening level and this bit at the end is the over world. Cannot wait.
I think it's been more than ten years since I first played Metroid Prime on the gamecube, and since then it has always been my favorite game of all time. Seeing that this saga finally has its fourth part and that the ost of the trailer sounds so similar to Phendrana Drifts almost made me cry when I saw it.
I love everything about this planet, and this soundtrack will stay in my head for the rest of my life. It would be amazing to see the Skytown again in Prime 4.
I think the trailer looked fine, it actually looked really good considering its on 7 year old hardware. Unless you mean my video, then yeah that's fair.
Can we all stop saying that its Phendrana drifts because it has some piano in it! It's a beautiful track all of its own and if it is the track that goes with this landscape then it jas nothing to do with Phendrana. Unless of course the time travel mechanics people are specylating on are real and this is meant to be an ancient Phendrana before an ice age......👀
i think the gameplay looks amazing but the trailer is kind of meh. how can i say that? well its because i cannot imagine that they didnt go the metroid 5 route of adding scary enemies that chase you around the map. and the enemys in the trailer are very generic

And difficulty isn't simply about "big damage numbers", Echoes is proof of that, and the producer of the game has already talked about wanting the game to be like Prime 2. It's a mainline Prime game, they aren't intended to be fully focused on combat, you have Federation Force for that.
This has "Kenji Yamamoto" written all over it. And I couldn't be happier of his return as an actual composer after the shit show that was Metroid Dread soundtrack.
Have they confirmed that he composed the ost for prime 4? This game is shaping up to be another echoes, jeus christ man, someone give me a time machine.
I can hear Phendrana Drifts and the Echoes title theme at the very end of the "2025" black screen in a sort of Metroid Prime Trilogy way. This is a blend of amazing old themes creating something new but unmistakably Metroid Prime. I'm in love with this and look forward to the complete thing.
Legit the first song in the game that got me to stop playing and stay idle for a while to appreciate it all. Everything about this game is on point, honestly.
