Hermoso recuerdo ❤❤❤

" He was supposed to play a show with his hero, Ennio Morricone, together. Like "master meets admirer". The crazy idea was an idea from the interviewer (I think from their last interview, like "what if I try to organize a concert Mondo Cane + Ennio), then Ennio "accepted" but he didn't know who Mike was. Once he knew, for some reason, he went nuts and tried to kick out Mondo Cane from the concert, he was furious and didn't want them to play in the same show "for artistical reasons". In the end, they were allowed to play (if I'm not wrong) after Ennio's concert, not as an opener anymore, but like at 2.a.m. for the ones who stayed there. Summarizing: a mess. Patton's dream was to meet Ennio Morricone and, of course, he accepted to play with him, but Ennio hated the idea. Patton respects that decision, as it's shown in the interview, but one can read easily between the lines that they were both very disappointed with his attitude and the interviewer is all time trying to apologize Patton for that. In any case, if you watch the interview knowing that, you can realize how gentleman Patton was. He was extremely sad in that moment, but he took it with philosophy and refused to say a bad word about Morricone. "
Great interview. Brilliant insight into the elusive Mr Patton. Great questions, great topic.. thank you!! I've not commented nor read them for years but wanted to here.✌🏼
