Basically just ignored everything you said, did it my own way & got global 51st on the leaderboard & 4:42.27. Almost 3 minutes faster than your natural talent got you.
I feel like this video is more about bragging & proving that he did it than actually trying to help anyone. Constantly repeating "just be consistent" doesn't help anyone be consistent. Then saying how naturally talented you are & skipping entire sections going "don't do this I just like to it's fun" whilst also skipped timers because "it's not hard it's just boring" is not how you make a video teaching anyone. The only way you have actually helped me in any way is that I've realised I can slow down so much compared to what I'd call my normal pace & still easily get to the end with minutes to spare.
Saying “be consistent” and not teaching what to do that must be done consistently. I think you meant to say was persistent and persevere, practice to get the pattern of movements you need in each segment so you can be consistent everytime. I think we were all waiting on what techniques you were going to teach to make each run consistent.
first of all stop bragging, second of all, I don't think it was your first try, third of all I could tell that you recorded over the run not as you were doing it
Cheers man, this will help my run considerably. I am rushing my runs as you have seen. You just showed there is no need to rush. Patience and consistency. And yes your "natural talent" makes it look easy
