What is with so many names for this new product. 4 or more names including cozy current, wise owl ect.😢 They all have same logo😮 picture on top of tin. I have had only a few minutes of the search time and I see all these various names. Makes me wonder.
Those are called "pilón" or "pilones" in plural. They are used in the Caribbean to smash plantains. You are missing the bowl, which is made of the same wood. ❤
helpful hints: do your prep before final video, have a helper to hand the can to after demonstration, tops can be tapped down After video is complete, have your stir sticks at hand and please have a table that is closer to the length of the board - the board was rocking and that distracts from your presentation.
Those are great hints if that works for you. I do this on my own. I don't have a helper and my videos are raw and real. You can find other videos that are professionally staged and edited to look like a TV show if that is what you are looking for. Thank you!
If one needed an extra topcoat under certain conditions, the paint is not really an all-in-one paint. They should market it as a on-occasion-all-in-one paint. Seems to be just another of Dixie Bell's questionable business practices.
It does not need an extra topcoat at all. It is made so it doesn't. I don't ever put an extra topcoat on like I said but I wanted to share this option if one would want it. I only use the Silk paint on my projects and they have been just fine. We have even used it on wall planks and cabinets in our dining room. Love this stuff. No questionable practices.
You mentioned having too little wall space for frames. If you sort your framed things by size you can make a gallery wall you like and then change out the things during the year by size without redoing all of it. I’ve seen people measure it out with scrap paper on the floor ahead of time. I have also got a long photo shelf my husband made For me that I can layer frames and things in. I have twelve frames of various sizes on it right now.
Yep! I have done this too! I have an empty wall but just not sure what I want to do with it yet. I have been thinking about adding a "feature" on the wall and then maybe handing things above that.

If you really like the mirror paint it brass. That way you will display it and love it. Hanging it up the way it is won’t be your style. Let me know what you decide. Love watching your thrift hauls. Will you be doing anymore “live” paint makeovers?

The wooden piece is a pestle to be used with a cone shaped colander or sieve. Often used when making and canning homemade tomato juice, but can be used to make other juices as well. That’s a beautiful older pestle! You can Google it to see images.
@@mycreativedays they obviously are paying you. It claims to remove scratches from leather sofas. It doesn't. Please provide proof of the before and after effect on your furniture. Then I might believe you.
I have never used on leather furniture. What I have used it on worked great. I have shared many different projects with it on my website and here on RU-vid. You can search for those.
I just put a heavy coat of Cozy Current salve by Wise owl on half of a bad spot on a 7+ year old leather Sofa. My own test ans did not wipe it off, And, took a before photo. We will judge results for ourselves Tomorrow.
