any other cats want company while they eat? We found that when our cat does this, she sometimes wants to play before she eats, but mostly she wants company
I’m happy to share my recipe! *Pizza*( Nan’s) Dough ingredients: 13 oz warm water. Just barely warm. The temperature of water you would have for a baby’s bath. 1 1/2 teaspoon salt ( sea salt or regular) 1 1/4 teaspoon “instant” yeast. I use Red Star active dry yeast. It never fails. I store it in the freezer. It keeps a very long time. 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 3 1/2 cup bread flour ( I use King Arthur always, but if you can’t find it, you could try any bread flour) Pizza Topping• is your choice. I don’t buy expensive pizza sauce . I have found that Walmarts brand of spaghetti sauce ( any flavor) in a jar is the best. I top my pizza with sauce, mozzarella's cheese, sausage, fresh mushrooms, pepperoni, basil & oregano fresh from the garden. Make it your own. 😉🍕 I make my own pesto with olive oil & fresh from the garden basil or oregano. I brush it on the pizza crust before baking. Heat your oven to 450. Pour your water in a measuring cup to the 13 oz line. Add the yeast. Let sit 5 minutes (no need to let it proof like most dough recipes) Add salt & olive oil. Stir gently. Place a large glass microwaveable bowl in the microwave for exactly 90 seconds. Remove bowl, pour the liquid mixture into bowl while the bowl is warm. Add bread flour. Using the opposite end of a wooden spatula or any wooden utensil, stir until completely combined. I stir until it looks creamy, like mashed potatoes) 😊 You want it combined well. Once combined, cover with plastic wrap and a thick bath towel & place your bowl ( that has dough mixture) in a warm place, such as a microwave or oven. Allow to rise 3-4 hours. It doesn’t have to double in size, but it will be some bigger after this time period. After it had risen some, remove dough and place on a lightly floured surface. I use my finger tips to press on the dough to remove air bubbles. I use a large rectangular non stick baking pan to bake mine, but you can use any kind you like. This recipe makes one large recipe or two medium. I don’t use a dough roller to roll it out. I stretch it out by hand just enough to place it in baking pan. Then I shape it by hand to fit pan. I like to use my fingers to shape the outer crust too. Starting with the sauce, add your cheese and toppings. Bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees. Baked pizza can be frozen in gallon freezer bags & once removed, can be heated in oven or air fryer. Enjoy!
It is heartbreaking that many cats are declawed. 🥲 I came across a RU-vid video today that showed a coyote attacking a cat, but the cat won! Those claws are for a reason. ❤️🐈⬛
