@@RockNRollSpock You should show some pictures from the comics. Except if you don't for copyright reasons. Though i have seen lots of people show full comics without a problem.
I really wanna check out Absolute Power, but I hate how DC has been writing Amanda Waller lately. I might just stick to main mini series and not the tie ins.
The acoustics and sound are horrible for this video. I have a couple of suggestions: • You need to place the microphone closer to your mouth. So we can hear you better. • Use a bunch of old towels off screen to absorb all the extra sound. Fold them into squares or rectangles (whatever they will do easily). Hang them on on the walls and/or your ceiling. • There are a lot of professionals on RU-vid that make videos dealing with sound quality, lighting, etc, etc. Research this. Keep making your videos, they will get better!
My ranking is: 12. Friday the 13th Part 8 11. Jason goes to Hell 10. Friday the 13th Part 7 9. Friday the 13th Part 4 8. Friday the 13th remake 7. Friday the 13th original 6. Freddy vs Jason 5. Jason X 4. Friday the 13th Part 5 3. Friday the 13th Part 3 2. Friday the 13th Part 6 1. Friday the 13th Part 2 Favorite kills: the wheelchair kill from Part 2. The final girl's dad from Part 6 was pretty awesome. From Jason X - Jason vs the military at the beginning of the movie. Same with the future military too.
First off, nice! That's a figure I'm still hoping to pull(or buy) from WoV. As for what to run with him, aside from Frenchie,(who can give him a few additional powers), I'm not really sure. There aren't too many figures with the Alpha Flight keyword, and X-Men keyworded figures tend to have special powers on both attack and damage(t least when it comes to his pilot trait). Figures with probability control, perplex, and leadership are always a good pick.
Think about using chthon to empower that ghost rider 048 you can add a frenchie or a hellcycle to give him side step but the steal energy from blade and the +1 to all combat values don’t hurt…also I’d drop the single based moon knight in favor of the one from WOV and use the other one as the pilot…overall pretty ok team, but a Good tent pole will give you problems
New Doomsday gains flurry when the restrain token is lost. However the trait states he can use flurry "this game" which is a duration statement. The compressive rule book states that duration effects can expire if another effect state "can't be used". And he does not have "protected pulse wave". What i'm saying basically is that after he gains flurry, you can pulse wave him, and he loses flurry forever, because he can't repeat the step of removing the restrain token. Then without flurry he becomes more manageable.
Hey there! Would you do a little recomendations for people who want to start/restart reading comics? I've used to follow some of my favorite heroes and I've read complete storylines like House of M or The long halloween, but i lost the habit about 10 years ago and now have no idea where to start again (or which stories are even good). With this and your MTG video i just comment you're putting me on a weird memory lane lol, but at least comics are cheaper to get back to than mtg (bless libraries). either way ty for the videos!
With Avengers, I would likely start with last year's Timeless one-shot and follow that into the current run by Jed MacKay. With X-Men, I would recommend starting with House of X/Powers of X, by Jonathan Hickman. These minis ran concurrently back in 2019 and are the beginning of the(soon to be ending, sadly) Krakoan Age. The two are available in collected editions which feature them in reading order. With Batman, I would start with "Joker War" and go from there. "Joker War" sets up the status quo for the current Bstman titles. With Detective Comics, Ram V's Gotham Nocturne is, to say the least, quite interesting and begins(it's currently still going) with issue #1062. Hope this helps, and If there are any other characters/books you're curious about, let me know!
I have this deck too (well, a similar version at least, none of my vampires have ever become angels lol)! I haven't played MTG in years, grad school + moving cities really stoped my gaming, but watching this made me so bittersweet! this deck is a lot of fun to play in big tables and I miss playing it a lot! ty for the video!
You're welcome and thank you for the kind words. I totally understand school and moving hampering one's gaming. Hope you're able to get back into it at some point!
