Had to return mine to B and M as the fan was making a really loud grinding sound halfway through cooking. Sounded like it was metal on metal or something. Will try another one and hope it was a one-off problem.
Just returned the second one at b&m, first one lasted 2 days. E3 error, then fans would not work. Second one didnt last 20 minutes. Same problem. Got money back this time. Clearly a commom fault
Sorry to hear about all your problems but glad you got your money back. Did the E3 error come on with both pots on or just one? Mine still works fine running both pots.
Just a quick update about the E3 error. I’ve not done any conclusive research, but mine seems to throw an E3 error when only using the number 1 pot on its own. Once the pot is opened (to turn food over etc) the fryer will shortly give the E3 code. I’ve noticed this whilst cooking chicken and bacon. As said not 100% conclusive. When I use both pots with the “match” function, everything seems fine.
@@user-mm9dd5kh9t I’m not sure about the energy costs, as I’ve never measured it when using this air fryer. Can’t be much more than a single pot fryer and definitely cheaper than using a conventional oven.
I believe this is an overheat warning. Mine used to do this now and again when cooking stuff like bacon and chicken but doesn’t do it anymore. Possibly fat etc coming out of the food causing the temp to get over a certain threshold? May be a glitch though as mine hasn’t done it for many weeks and is constantly used.
E3 has also appeared on mine! Nothing in the manual! Only 2 weeks old, it's happened a few times, you have to switch it off and start again, will be taking it back.
Thanks for that ,just seen it in B&M and thought i would have a look on here to see if its any good. Ill be replacing my corsori 5.5 lt with this one now . Cheers
I bought it and I'm struggling. Its not cooking right. Tried making toad in the hole and its shocking and undercooked. Think its going back tomorrow after the Mrs has a look at it as its the first airfryer we've bought
Sorry to hear about this mate. Mine seems to be OK at the moment. Have you tried the usual stuff - setting the temp to 200 and turning it half way through etc? Air fryers do need almost as much time as ovens, they’re not super quick like microwaves.
@@AdventuresInAirFryingYT Took it back today and got an instore credit note. We got the slightly more expensive Tower Vizion Dual Air Fryer 7.6L still from B&M, total game changer. Found the Tower one great and easy to use straight out the box. The Balupunkt is 1700W vs the Tower 2400W. Maybe we got a dud one but its now sorted
Hi mate, seems to be going well so far. I’ve had two overheat errors but this might be down to my silicon liners not being big enough for the pots. Food cooks well and I think this should do the job for a family of three. 👍
I thought these guys only made car stereos and TVs, lol. I had one in the 90s and it was frickin awesome. If this is as good as their stereos it should be a fantastic bit of kit.
@@TheRetroManRandySavage I’m not sure the quality will be up there with 80s Blaupunkt as I’m pretty sure this is just a licensed name to use on Chinese budget stuff. If it’s as reliable as my cheapo Aldi single pot it replaces, I’ll be very happy.
I always use silicon liners and makes cleaning fairly simple by hand or dishwasher. I bought some new liners for this but they’re just a bit too small. Still clean easily and no if any residue left behind in the pots.
Buddy, I've just eaten the same pigs in blankets. We ate all the Turkey yesterday, so I nipped out this evening to buy some chicken fillets to go with yesterday's leftovers. Aldi's pigs in blankets were delicious. We got all our Christmas shopping from there this year. Well, apart from the snowball drinks.
You just can’t mess with Aldi’s prices and quality. These Pigs In Blankets when air fried were really tasty - bacon was crispy and the sausages still remained nice and soft too. Shame Aldi’s prices are starting to creep up now. 🥲
42% meat LOL I'm amazed they are still technically a sausage. You need some Iceland luxury frozen or some from your local butcher to appreciate a proper sausage. These are not to my liking but each to there own. Council pop = water council sausage= Richmond lol😂 there's better out there with a higher meat content and better ingredients for less than these.
Not wanting to be rude but I don’t consider myself a sausage expert and your in depth intel on the sausage scene, clearly gives credibility to my claim. 😉 These sausages taste good to me, I know they’re processed but they are what they are. This channel is about air frying relatively everyday foods, it’s not three star Michelin cuisine. 😜 Thanks for your commenting though. 👍
The reason people buy these a lot is generally because for a sausage they taste fairly good and they are good value for money that's why , i agree the iceland luxury sausages are a lot nicer but getting 4 or 6 instead of 20 ..
Aldi is boss. I love that place. Ours has just opened back up after being closed for months due to it being extended and renovated. In the meantime we had just been shopping online at Tesco, Asda and sainsbury's, but I much prefer aldi, no doubt about it.
I only shop at Aldi because of their mostly high quality food and good prices compared to the other supermarkets. I really do wonder how people afford weekly shopping at Tescos and Sainsbury’s etc with current prices! 😮
