I dont think Ive ever liked the ending of a show Ive loved. They usually always disappoint in a way or another. But this was such a beautiful spin.. Thanks David and the crew, awesome cinema 👌
On the night this comment was posted I had just finished watching this very episode for the first time. My friend who is a big Twin Peaks fan showed me TP in February of 2024 and next week from this comment we will be finishing the last two episodes of the return. What an amazing ride. I will not lie when I tell you I was screaming when Coop hit us with that line. All that wonderful Lynch-y nonsense and build up for the BEST pay off EVER. God bless Cherry pie, DAMN fine coffee, and of course, Twin Peaks.
The fact that after all this time, the first thing dale cooper does when he wakes up is make sure that dougie can be remade so that his family can be with him is a huge testament to dale coopers character.
I rarely react when I watch a movie or TV series by myself, no matter how good they are, but when Cooper said "I am the FBI", it genuinely made me smile.
It's funny how axes character would have demolished him after that and he would have never found work again in New York state, but he somehow allowed this character to continue existing in the world after this, which would have never happened otherwise
This sequence gave me goosebumps and brought tears of joy. Literally. What a brilliant way to bring Dale Cooper back to the "real world" and the theme music just tops it off 👏
I want a new procedural show where we just get to see Coop investigate a weird crime each episode. I mean it won't probably make me cry like this scene, but hey.
This scene was comforting. People who were long time fans saw their hero back and the theme that normally is very melancholy is now a theme of triumph. But it still has that twin peaks feel of “this can’t last”
I only started watching Twin Peaks from S01E01 just over a month ago, and I've just finished S03E16 as we speak. How did it take me this long to watch this show. It's phenomenal. I'm so not ready for it to end. I'm taking it one episode a day to draw this out as much as possible.
Same, people think David Linch is a genius for mocking their faces, but i know it's just BS and the third season was just a huge waste of what could've been a epic series return
I cried so hard after this scene. David Lynch is man with good heart. All his character are living being. I wish him & crew good health so he can bring us this more.
Still trying to decide who the most iconic tv FBI agent is Dale Cooper or Fox Mulder ? ..in a perfect tv world those two characters would have crossed paths ..actually they kinda did in way with Duchovny playing a FBI agent thats not Mulder...if only they could have got Kyle to do guest role in a X Files episode directed by David Lynch ..in perfect tv world
He has performance anxiety and Wendy coached him to step out of his comfort zone and do something unusual that would get him noticed by Bobby and Wags. He didn't realize that at that moment Bobby and Wags were trying to seal the deal with some important wealthy clients by riding down the elevator with them and seeing them out.
