Hello I was watching all your fiberglass videos a couple years back and you had a video showing how to make gel coat out of bondo. I'm hear looking for it again and can't find it and was wondering if you can point me in the direction of the video or tell me the formula again please. I have Acquired a plug of some sort and can't visualize what it is and would like to make a part from it to see what it comes out to be. Thanks in advance. Hope you get this message and your videos are very informative wish I would have seen the earlier ones. Thank you again
I'm not sure if you still check your channel but I'm going to ask anyway haha. Can I skip the gel-coat and wet the surface with resin, let cure, sand and repeat with adding the angel hair or cloth?? I'm wanting to glass my complete hood (2000 Honda Accord). Another question - can I use a bed sheet to stretch over my hood and just add resin then pop the mold off. I used this method to fashion custom panels for (auto) audio sound systems. Thanks...
Les Dunham is a friend in Jersey. He had some experience in fiberglass and some cars in movies. Love talking to him and learning from him. Thanks for sharing your craft.
I have question,if i succesfully mad a mold, how do i prep the mold to start making copy ?any video of you doing prep works on new fresh mold?everytime i tried to make product from my mold,it sometime stick really bad,and cause my product to either crack or very hard to remove from my mold
18:04 He flexed on all you posers with his flip phone, bic lighter, pack of marlboro and phat stack of one dollar bills wrapped in a $100 light bill money. Get ya some of dat!
That trash thrasher noise makes the truck look like poor homeless hippies having a bumroyal rumble in a dumpster 😂😆😄😂😃🐒💨 Some music would have made people actually look without muting and then asking wth am i even looking for lol
Glasser, I just started a project on my pontoon boat making fiberglass panels to replace tin skirting they use. How many layers of 2oz chop strand can or should you lay at one time. I am doing 5 layers total. Can I do all five or should I break it up and do 3 and then 2
So glad I found your channel. Just straight forward and to the point. I am in the process of making fiberglass panels for my pontoon boat to replace the crappy metal insert they use that always gets dinged up. Wish me luck. Thx again for your videos.
I love watching him use the spray gun, as its something I have not mastered yet, so I use the brush method for gel coat ! but think I can do it after this vid thanks..
Too damn late. I should have started watching this video before I made my fiberglass nice and shiny. Good thing its under the dash for re enforcement 😅
TM 5:15 not exactly so. There will ALWAYS be a legal recourse for litigating against someone infringing on your protected rights; copyright, deign patent, patent, TM or SM etc, HOWEVER, depending on the circumstances if someone stole your protected property and had in place protections for themselves, for example setting up an LLC or a Corporation you will NEVER have the chance of attaching rights to their personal [in this vide the comment, "...you will own their house..."] NON-LLC/CORPORATION assets EVER, since that is the whole purpose of the LLC/CORP; assets profits of the LLC/CORP are a totally diff situation you would have rights to those to the financial extent determined by the court. One of the biggest thiefs in taking others ideas and placing THEIR name on them is Thomas Edison, one of the MAIN reason he has the record for them most patents in his name. If YOU worked for Edison it was YOUR idea that he paid to patent the patent was placed under his name and not the originators. Westinghouse on the other hand ALWAYS place the patent in the name of the person who was working for him that came up with the idea and perfected it. And from a totally personal opinion, you have to wonder why someone would make a comment/point about going after someone to own their home, but in the same 15 minute video do free advertising for a major corporation on their beverage product and not get a nick of a nickel for the promotional plug. Makes you wonder...
